Gary, I think we should just keep this thread going and keep it simple. It might get complicated jumping from the Pee Wee figure thread, to this one, and yet another. Just my opinion! Can't wait to see future progress pics!

Just a thought but is that the accurate bike model used in the movie? I know that they modified a schwinn but which model? The frame of the Black phantom schwinn looks very accurate.

Very close, the frame is the same just the front springer is alittle different.

This is the bike used for sure. The front end is different, because this 1/6 bike Gary got is a model of the top of the line model of this bike. At the time they thought 2 springs is better than one for this top of the line bike. Trust me I have 9 years plus restoring and customizing bikes!!
