I’m not 100% sure but i suspect the sales of customs on this thread is likely going to come to a close soon. I set up a Facebook page so artists and run organizers can continue their stuff in the customs community. You can search Facebook for “1/6 Freaks Custom Creations“ minus the quotations. There you can post your interest threads and sales threads.

Having been here for quite a while, and living through many thread closures and other customs-related scandals, this most recent event doesn't feel like anything special.

I'd be surprised to see this section close down.

Having said all that, I know there are other like-minded people around who are already starting up other forums. I'd suggest remaining calm and letting the dust settle before you being spinning up new off-shoot forums.

Yeah I have seen several pop up, and I think none of which are the answer yet. I would rather wait for the official word from the Sideshow Freaks forum owners as to what the actual deal will be. If the hobby dissipates into many different groups nobody will be able to keep track of anything.

Totally agree. I believe there are more than 4 different offshoot forums and websites already. It's becoming a bit scattered and we don't even know anything yet.

Well, shortly after my stating that I don't think this section would close ... it closed.

I saw that something else is in the works, but I just thought this was Sideshow knocking on the door to let everyone know they're there. I figured it would all blow over, just as it always has.

And the custom section isn't closed. Everything is still here, just as it was before... it's just... hidden, as Dave said. As more people regain access we'll be able to run things, busines as usual. It'll just take some time.

Yes, but that is still a problem. How many people have access to limbo?
I have, from the start, but my last post in there was some months ago in the Alternate Visions sub forum, and, what, two or three people have posted there, I was the last one to post and no one has posted ever since. Means access, so far is very restricted, and an invite of Dave to other people, though a great thing will end up by the secret being spilled at some point, causing trouble for Dave.
