Thanks it's subtle, but definitely there, still undecided if grey or brown though, the armour I'm going for a green/blackened bronze look which should look interesting, this has also led to me digging out my death dealer and do some finishing touches

I think I want to go with gray tones. Could the material be painted without losing the texture?

I don't think so, If people are interested in the suit I can see if the grey has the same size or smaller pattern and offer both, the material is soft with the shiney almost decal pattern on it . I'm am teaching my daughter the 1:6 trade she is 14 so by the time she leaves school she may be a skilled 1:6 seamstress

Maybe try clear paints over the grey to get that effect

Ok casting materials purchased, cross your fingers cause some bits are going to be tricky

On the material front I went to look yesterday and the grey here isn't really suitable cause the pattern is too large and to much silver the option is I'm going to look for a pleather that I've seen before which has a scale effect.

Only 4 more pieces to cast then I'm ready to assemble and paint, the wife also offered to do the lines on the outfit all hand stitched

Bit of playing with paint apps definitely going the faux bronze with tarnish, heavy tarnish on the standard and lighter on the helm
