Was asked what a 'Welt' was. I'll have to get a better pic, but hopefully this will show.

It is basically the center part. You tend to have a sheath back, and a sheath face, but to protect the stitching and also make the sheath accept a knife better, you have a welt, which is the center part between the back and face. I'm not too good at explaining so at some point when i've made the knives i'll get better pic's.
