I will be unveiling the official reference images soon. The official choice for the sculpt will be halfway between smirking and ironic as Denny expressed some concern regarding the open mouth on the ironic figure.

There is a good chance that a second 'serious/intense' sculpt will be offered as a DX.

Rest assured that the expression will be one found abundantly throughout Willis' performance as John McClane

Im interested in the accesories and maybe the clothes if they look cool. So if I can get them separetly let me know.

these weird open mouth expressions are just never a good idea.. they just don't turn out likeness or character wise the way a more neutral expression does. Im happy the other option will still be available.

I'm interested in McClane with ironic sculpt and Dx.
 
Reference images are in. Be excited guys, I covered the expressions in a bunch of angles. Iminime's great sculptors should turn out an awesome McClane!

Based on exhaustive culling of reference images that image best represents the character. I found over 30 images of Bruce Willis producing that expression (or very similar to it).

yes ive rewatched die hard since ive come across this thread and i agree but i just wish it had a little bit more of a serious look to it. theres still going to be an option of a second head?

Denny is going to work on the first sculpt with the possibility of the second still open.

just a little more furrow to the brow would help... maybe with one eyebrow cocked... make him a little more 'pained'... y'know?! otherwise... all good!
