Hey Phans,
Since we have the time and I have been getting questions about the Tall Man body so people can prep, let me throw out options for you guys to vote on, since the suit will be tailored to the specific body we use (for those that need it).

We have two choices: First, the Triad Omega body which I personally don't own but is supposed to be a little taller than a regular 1:6 body (any one have size comparison pics?), and then WGP would make lift shoes for him as well as his head.

The other option is to go with a Kanamit Sideshow "Twilight Zone" body which is 14" tall. Here he is posed next to the Sideshow short body and the regular sized 1:6 Sideshow body to gauge size, and look at his awesome boots and his hands just posed to hold a sphere as if it was made for it. The downside it that he has no wrist articulation. And below that pic is another one of my older Tall Man custom in a suit for you to see how the body looks dressed.

Thoughts? Comments? I see a Kanamit up on E-bay as a buy-it-now for $99.99, but I've seen him on there for $60.

I would like to see a Triad Omega. The Kanamit's arms are wwaaaaayyy too long. The Tall Man above looks monkeyish to me.

I think Triad Omega is the way to go with Tall Man. It is tall and I think it will work well. Plus do not forget he wears "lifts" too so that will make the figure even taller. I no longer have one to show, but if anyone is familiar with One's Custom Rob Zombie H2 custom, he used that body.

Can I also have people interested in Reggie who are not on the list please let me know so I can gauge interest. Most people replied "cool!" to the set, which doesn't really tell me what they are interested in (laugh). Thanks all!

We will be making the Tall Man for a Triad Omega body then. :)

Q - head and sp-holding palm (hand) comes unpainted?

Hope that costume will fit trimmed DCD body.

Thanks everyone for your interest in Phantasm! I just wanted to give an update on them here. For Tall Man- the head, as you've seen, is ready for printing. The costume is due to be started any day. Sean is about to make the lift boots and sphere holding hand. I expect the Tall Man parts to be completely finished in Jan.

Reggie still only has six people interested as opposed to Tall Man's 16. So it's not that he's NOT going to happen, but we definitely need more people interested. I am hoping once The Tall Man is done more people will become interested once they see him and sign on for Reggie.

Interest for the sphere victim was even less, so they just need more interest.

I'm shocked there's so little interest for Reg. He's as much an icon of the series as the Tall Man. It's like wanting Michael Myers, but not Dr. Loomis. :dunno

Hi Phans!
I just wanted to update that I just saw the Tall Mans proto suit two days ago and now I have asked the tailor to go back into it and make the sleeves and leggings very slim like they did for Angus' costume in the actual movie to make him look even taller, and to make his collar as thin as it was as well.

I have solid metal chrome spheres made so far (sans blades), and now I am working on getting some bladed ones made.

Sean is going to be making TM's lifter boots this month and hand.

I appreciate everyones patience as this is really a project of love. We will see what kind of enthusiasm we can drum up for the Phranchise when Tall man is complete and shown around, and I am hoping to roll that excitement in getting others onboard for some of the other characters. (I REALLY want a 15 year old Michael for TM to fight too!) :hi5:

I also wanted to say that we WILL be going ahead with the Reggie head even though he only has 8 interested and we normally want 16, since Phantasm is a personal love of mine.

I might as well throw out asking in interest for a 13 year old Michael head from the first movie as well for anyone interested, since I want him too so we will have the three main characters. (laugh). (Maybe we can make him with Tall Mans transformed finger/insect in the box?)

If Reg only got 8, I dread to see how Mike fares. I'd be down for it, but the body seems like a big hurdle. Plus, I imagine the clothing would have to be custom made if a body that small could even be found.

We will do a full costume for Michael when we get to him. I agree his clothes won't be able to be bought off the rack. I just wanted to announce our intentions of doing him, regardless since he is more of a personal want. By the time he is made (by the end of 2012) we will have made the Tall Man and Reg, so maybe that will drum up more interest for him. :)

I need to pull out my DID youth body when I get home and see how big he really is...

There was some great ideas and concepts but in the end this movie turnd out pretty MEH Im0.

Yeah, the first is by far my favorite as well. I plan to do Reg in his white ice cream man outfit from the original flick.
