I mean painted. Its really hard to get a good feel for a sculpt until you see a painted pic of it. I've seen some initially great sculpts whose flaws have been exposed once they are painted, and meh ones who suddenly come to life the second an artist gets their hands on them.

I see - well it really depends omn the painter, likewise I have seen some crappy sculpts that the painter has bought a likeness out of. Did you have a certain painter in mind?
