Amazing Joel! Where'd you get that steel book. I need that in my life.

This was a very limited edition from Zavvi. They only made 2000, total.
It's out there on eBay now, usually around $50 plus postage. :)

Hey guys, sorry to drop in here and derail things but I understand there were some doc heads delivered in error during the last restock. Anyone have an extra painted doc head they would be willing to part with? Again, sorry...just having a heck of a time finding a painted doc head.

Thanks Lakhota for the heads up!

I finally put my figure together last night. I was having some second thoughts when everything was in-hand, as it just looked more hum drum than I was expecting. But once everything is put together this really does make for a great figure. The little details that are done so well (pipe, chain, Aeon's paint apps) all work together to make the whole greater than the sum of its parts. Rainman, Yunsil, and Mike all did a fine job here.

Looking great guy's! This figure looks top notch!!

Glad you all are liking the Pipe and Pen's but sorry to hear a few of you have snapped them. You can try gluing them, I recommend CA Super Glue the thicker kind, or Hypo Tube Cement which is watch jewelers cement for the glass on watches so it dries super strong but clear, you also have a little bit more working time, as with the CA it bonds in under 40sec.

I hope you can fix them.

LMK.

Thanks

Mike

I didn't break them; I never got them :lol. I was pretty detached from the boards for a few months and this is something that passed me by. I was on the list but I missed the train

real late in the game here, but just got my RM head. I must have been in a later batch, but luckilly that meant the hat was glued on correctly! I repainted it tonight, and after seeing the slight shine in the photos, i may hit it with a spray of dullcoat tomorrow. Boots are temporary old newline miniatures I had, but I dont mind them at all and they are quite accurate actually.

the main thing I did here was use a customized slim top/ regular bottom truetype, which I think achieves a wayyy more accurate slim physique for DDL. Suit still looked fantastic on it too, here are the results!

Re: [[[[YUNSIL]]]] Daniel Plainview charcoal suit outfit (SOLD OUT)

Nice repaint and great proportions. Looking good! I agree that the 21 is too big for Plainview. He looks too buff and it's been bugging me. I'm going to see if something simple like swapping to a Coulson body will be the quick and easy fix

Building up this set confirmed for me that while the 21 is an improvement over the 18 in certain ways (because the 18 has some dated attributes), it's not a direct replacement 100% of the time. There's still a need for the 18. I wish that they would release the Coulson as a TTM. It's an 18 with better sized forearms (forearms are the main thing wrong with the 18 IMO)
