Re: [YUNSIL] Indiana Jones "Raiders of the Lost Ark" outfit (NOW ACCEPTING $50 DEPOSI

I've decided to go with a TTM19. I've seen the MJ12 Indiana Jones in hand and it fits the 19 well. Prototype will be shown at the end of the month. I've let Yunsil know that I would like samples swatches of different kinds of fabric so I can decide what's best for the jacket. :wave

So the prototype will most likely not have the final fabric. Just so you guys are aware. :)

Very excited! :panic:

So one of the biggest complaints about the HT Indy was the totally inappropriate muscular body choice when Harrison Ford is skinny, and we are going with it again? Explain why the same mistakes are being made now?

Unless you want to see an ugly neck joint the TTM19 and equivalent muscle bodies are the only ones that allow for an unbuttoned shirt which Indy had.

And I'm sure the biggest complaint wasn't the body on the DX05, it was the sculpt

Yes, and it's not like you're gonna leave a $250+ Outfit in its box and display Indy naked... Now, there might be pervs like that on second thought...

Re: [YUNSIL] Indiana Jones "Raiders of the Lost Ark" outfit (NOW ACCEPTING $50 DEPOSI

Ezio body. The one most people agreed was the best for Indy anyways.

Harrison Ford isn't muscular, and a neck joint shouldn't excuse a body which doesn't fit for the character at all.

Re: [YUNSIL] Indiana Jones "Raiders of the Lost Ark" outfit (NOW ACCEPTING $50 DEPOSI

Are the Ezio Bodies even available? Those are more rare than authentic TTM19's. Just searched ebay and could not find one listed.

Re: [YUNSIL] Indiana Jones "Raiders of the Lost Ark" outfit (NOW ACCEPTING $50 DEPOSI

Is the Ezio body a narrow shoulder with sculpted chest? And yes it's pretty rare I looked as well

Yes ttm19 is the way to go

Re: [YUNSIL] Indiana Jones "Raiders of the Lost Ark" outfit (NOW ACCEPTING $50 DEPOSI

I saw that and got confused, there is no real way of knowing huh.

Re: [YUNSIL] Indiana Jones "Raiders of the Lost Ark" outfit (NOW ACCEPTING $50 DEPOSI

The knock off ttm18 I bought (without the neck) was pretty solid with tight joints etc. not got one of these myself but would be interested to hear if anyone has one?

Re: [YUNSIL] Indiana Jones "Raiders of the Lost Ark" outfit (NOW ACCEPTING $50 DEPOSI

Does anybody have a diagram that shows all the TTM's and detailed their differences? I've been in this hobby for almost 4 years and am still totally confused on body types, obviously I know a sculpted and unsculpted neck but other than that I'm lost.

Re: [YUNSIL] Indiana Jones "Raiders of the Lost Ark" outfit (NOW ACCEPTING $50 DEPOSI

THAT's the one!!! I have a couple of those in house! yay!

I've searched for a good comparison because I too was confused, but it seems to be hard to find a comprehensive source. Toyhaven does a pretty good job with basic descriptions.

Here's a rundown of the TTM20, TTM21 and TTM22 features: Link
And a review of the TTM19: Link
And a comparison of the TTM18 and TTM19: Link
And a description of general 1/6 body options and their articulation: Link

These forum threads might help, too, but you'll do a lot of reading to find something useful:

https://www.sideshowcollectors.com/...toys-true-type-muscular-body-ttm-19-a-56.html

The promotional pictures for each body help to show the differences between the bodies' necks, torsos and arms (sculpted versus unsculpted) even though a simple narrative description from a knowledgeable person would be more helpful. I was going to make myself a cheat sheet because I have a ton of clothes/heads I've bought over the years for doing kitbashes, but I'm unsure about which body is right for each character. My first kitbash was a Ra's al Ghul on a TTM21 and he looks stuffy, so I'm gunshy about buying bodies without being sure a kitbashed figure will look right.

Based on what I've read, knock-off narrow shoulder TTM18 bodies (because originals are rare/expensive) seem to be the easiest choice for any normal, fully-clothed white male character since the thin body and arms and flat chest will look fine once covered in layers of clothing. TTM22 slim bodies are comparable to TTM18s, but I think the TTM22 is shorter and the shoulders might be a bit wider (not sure, so don't quote me). TTM19 bodies would be used when the neck/torso/biceps will be exposed and you don't want to see ugly neck articulation or smooth, featureless arms. Indiana Jones usually has his shirt open at the collar, so a neck joint would look bad; TTM21 regular and TTM22 slim bodies have neck articulation, the TTM22 slim is too small, and the TTM20 is way too big, so TTM19 would work best for Indy. An ACI Christian medium build body would work for Indy too since it's similar to a TTM19, but the ACI Christian bodies aren't readily available.

Just when I thought I was getting the hang of these bodies, now I see people referring to specific figure bodies like the Bruce Banner body or the Bruce Lee body that have specifically desirable characteristics beyond that afforded by the basic TrueTypes. Once again I am lost.

Is it possible to see the prototype first before committing payment please? I am interested but I'd like to see what I'm getting for my money first if that's okay ?

Cool! Does that include the deposit already paid in?

Also is it a possibility she can tailor these to either a ttm18 (Ezio KO) or ttm19 (Muscular) with just a few adjustments?
