Maybe in Canada, but not here. It's frustrating because I'd like to get tracking for everyone. But most aren't willing to pay the $55. Plus it's a A LOT more paper work for me to fill out. Which is extremely tedious and time consuming.

All good man, the customs number should suffice in keeping me worry free from loss of package.

FWIW, you can put them in one of these. And it's $25.25 Flat Rate for International. The label is just one half sheet, not the 4 half sheets like the standard Priority International is.

It's not tracked everywhere, so sometimes they'll get lost. It's up to the receiving country to scan it once it leaves the US.

These countries are SUPPOSED to track them, they have an agreement in place with USPS to scan them, but that doesn't always happen.

You can't get detailed shipping with Priority Mail, either. That method also employs the customs number, which may or may not provide sufficient tracking for the recipient. USPS's only mechanism for ensuring delivery (and thus ensuring seller protection from Paypal), and providing a tracking update at every step along the route is via Express or Global Express Guaranteed. For sellers it's rough, because that does get really expensive once you get upwards of 4 or 5 pounds, but it's still usually cheaper than other shipping options (UPS, Fed Ex, DHL).
