Unpainted casts all went down to Earl to ship with the clothing sets.

Painted casts by Mark were shipped to him the same time as i sent the unpainted casts to Earl, I'm guessing Mark hasn't finished painting yet.

Cool cant wait. I'm gonna have a bash at painting the Arnie sculpt, I got some eye decals so that should help. I think Arnie got light brown eyes?

No, that would be light blue eyes.

Looks light brown in some pics, light blue in others.
Maybe he wears coloured contacts sometime :dunno

I will probably go with light blue though to match my own eyes. :lol

They are a sort of blue stone colour. Not as light as Mark painted them actually

OK wanted to put this to you guys

Since doing the Quaid sculpt for this project, we have been doing another Arnold for Conan to be haired. We spent pretty much the last 4 months going back and forth on the sculpt making amendments and whatnot.

We have printed the bald Conan sculpt and liked the sculpt so much we reworked it for a Quaid 2.0.

For everyone who bought the first sculpt on this thread, we want to offer the unpainted casts to all those who want to upgrade the first one at half price ($35 unpainted + shipping).

I have sent my Quaid figure with the clothing to Sean today and once he's got it he will be sizing and printing the head and then it will go to be molded and cast so at a guess i think any casts will be ready for the end of the month - start of October, given the caster has space.

I will probably make a new thread but wanted to put it here for you guys first.

Great sculpt yes I thought the bottom half in the picture came with the head I must of read it wrong, very happy with the outcome of this project .[emoji106]

Hmmm, I'll have to think a little about the new sculpt. I can definitely see the differences, but if I may, it actually looks like a Conan sculpt with short hair. With many actors, the character they portray takes on a uniqueness different from themselves and other characters they've done. Maybe a slightly different expression would help, a change to the mouth or something.

Mine is looking pretty neat, Love the detail in the clothing. The sculpt must of been awesome as even with my hokie paint apps it looks good. Just got to get some black metallic paint for the guns and a decal base & I'm there.

As for it looking like the Conan sculpt, we actually edited to make him older, made him more gaunt and brought the jaw in slightly so it wasn't as wide aswell as making the mouth older and more downturned

This was the ref we were going for

Thanks, so glad I jumped on this, one of the best Arnie sculpts I've got, makes Hot Toys look 2nd rate. I sprayed the clothes with some fabric stiffener so it hangs more natural now. Oh painted his hair darker too, Arnie's hair seems to go from dark brown to mousy brown in the movie I noticed?
