Okay 1/3 through the original Matrix, I am enjoying it Shorty and Pop but I have a few questions I understand its a Science Fiction movie and all doesn't make sense. I was wondering if I missed this or are they unanswered questions

: If the Matrix is a computer generated world how would bullets or Physical Strength hurt the Agents? If the computers wrote the software wouldn't the bullets and physical attacks just be code and not actually hurt the Agents? Neo being the "One" means he can change the Matrix with his own thoughts and rewrite it? Couldn't the Machine just delete him from the program seeing they are actually running it? It is very thought provoking and I am really enjoying it, I haven't finished 1 and I still have 2 and 3, your guys figures are fantastic by the way.

By the way anyone else feel free to chime in, I want to hear people opinions except AJKhunter and Matlin they are fricken Prawns!

As for the film only the first Matrix exisists in my mind. The sequels blow and I still refuse to believe they were a part of the original plan. They were tacked on cash grabs that just really dug the trilogy into its grave. The first is such a great original thought provoking good time. 2 & 3 can burn for all I care!

Yup, the last two just aren't even close to the first. Good for action but the sequels story just sucks ass. As for your questions, I kind of always assumed that although they could take over the humans, they couldn't just write them out and if you were "awake," you couldn't be touched, only killed. As for the bullets and killing an agent, again, I guess like any computer program there must've been certain parameters that the system had to follow otherwise the whole system would crash. At least thats rationalize it lol.

Awesome pics, guys! And I have to agree with everything Mags said about the sequels. The only highlights for me in reloaded and revolutions were the few fight scenes not molested by video game cutscene CGI, like Neo's first fight with the upgraded agents, the chateau, etc.

Chateau fight was sick, burly brawl was pretty good until it went full on PS2 graphics. :lol

That being said, Fight with Seraph doesn't get enough attention! Priest Neo for the win.

I think the freeway scene / priest fight were the best - other than that I slept through all the "one flag six flags" ****!!!

As for rational etc - for part one - I think the book has a lot of details which obviously the movie could not go in at length. The closest explanation is the virus and antivirus philosophy. The free world zion was nothing but an unpredictable virus to the matrix. Given the right sequencing it had potential to beat / destroy the agents with the same tools (guns / software codes) - even when in the matrix parlance it was something that was potentially not possible

Smith never dies he gets destroyed - but is back stronger than before... Even the agents don't die in part one the bodies they take over die.

Mags is right. Explaining this movie can go on for pages :lol.

I'm sure it takes most people at least 2 viewings to fully digest the concepts. Just pay attention and absorb the scenes when Morpheus explains it all to Neo (red/blue pill, jumping scene, Kung fu sparing, etc.). The other thing to understand which will answer most of you questions, is that the machines/programs aren't perfect beings. They're flawed too. That becomes more apparent in pt. 2
