Again, sorry for delay. This month has been challenging due to vacations caster/metal guy has taken, plus very long business trips I was assigned too. Like Chad stated, it won't be long now. Molds where made of the jetpack and helmet last week. His schedule pushed us back a bit in regards to casting the proto in metal.
If all goes well, I should be showing something later this week.

As for price, it's hard to get a number before the proto, but like I stated earlier in the thread when we built the 3D model, and did estimates on the castings, 3D build, etc...it's looking more likely to be around $450 a set. The jetpack is 8 molds alone.

Of course, the second option is FullMetals, which you have to inquire with Davinator for details.

I wouldn't track down a Medicom simply because it's out of scale and very small for a 1/6 figure. Just my opinion.

$450 is expensive, but understandable if it turns good. Fullmetal version is awesome, but at $1200 I realize that I don't love this character that much.

For you night owls....As promised, I was able to see the progress on the helmet and jetpack :rock
Found some errors that I will have him correct. Looking at new casts by Thursday end of day hopefully. But really encouraged with the first pass. Not out of the woods yet...still have to clean and polish these things and see how it looks on the TTM18.

When I'm satisfied with the proto, Ill start a new thread for the helmet and jetpack to see who is interested in this offering ...In the meantime, here are some WIP Pics of the raw castings in metal (unpolished)
