Re: [YUNSIL] - SHipping Soon!- Tony Soprano Clothing Set-

Overall pretty pleased with the outcome of this figure. The outfit is definitely the best there has ever been for Tony. I must say though, not really happy with the pants and also my jacket's collar isn't the same measurement on both sides, it seems Yunsil and her team taking on so many projects now a days is hurting in the QC department imo. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy the pictures. Happy to have a Tony Soprano in my collection, one of, it not the best television series of all time with an awesome character and amazing actor who sadly died too young.

Great shots; paint on that sculpt is beautiful. Can't wait to get to work on mine.

Bro that collar!!!!!! Damn! WTF?? See this is what happens when everyone gets a trophy in 1/6. This woman is being stretched out way to far for their size of a company. That's some straight up swap meet factory seconds defect crap. Don't get me wrong the figure looks good but that right there is 100% over booked on her part. She is a professional and should know when to say, " Sorry but we are booked for the year." If that we're a custom made jacket for a real person that would be rejected by the buyer and store. But because it's just a toy? Oh well.....it's something you can live with, lol. Shame bro.

Man those are great pics. Love the lighting. I wish I could make my pics come out that nice. I gotta buy a separate camera instead of just using phone.
I sold my Rocco head sculpt a long time ago,ahh too bad. Someone talked me into it. Here's my pics using the Iminime head sculpt. Still think it looks good. I agree with the pants. A bit baggy in the legs. Everything else is perfection!! Stole your hand in the pocket pose Mr. Hunter! LOL.

Re: [YUNSIL] - SHipping Soon!- Tony Soprano Clothing Set-

So is this the thing to do now - jump in on a thread you had nothing to do with and criticize? I know it's practically Rob's raison d'etre, I guess he's got a protogé now. I'm not going down this rabbit hole here though so don't bother responding/attacking.

As far as the pants go - they are a bit wide at the bottom. However, as I stated before, if you have the right height on the figure and are using the fatsuit that came with it they fall perfectly and don't bunch up at the bottom (see below). Mine stands about 12.25" which is pretty close to being the right ratio to Gandolfini's 6' 1". The length of the shoes may help too, again, big guy, big feet.

As far as AJK's collar goes, I went through the remainder of sets I have and none of them are uneven, might be a fluke. Even though they need to be futzed a bit - he knows how to futz so it may be off.

Paint looks amazing BTW, Andrew! Who did it? The redness of the nose/cheeks really sells it!

Thanks man, it was done by K.Jun

The pants are fine. Great even. End of story.

First of all I apologize for what has gone down in this thread, that was 100% not my intention. I am sorry this happened as I am truly happy with the set. I talked to Trevor and I am going to try and see if maybe the collar is good and I just didn't futz it well enough. As for the pants, I understand everything said but IMO it is a bit on the big side. I mean I can get them looking ok but it takes a good bit with a lot of excess hiding behind the figure's legs, I used the TTM-18 as suggested with the Yunsil Fat Suit. I know he is a big guy but these things, atleast mine, are ginormous. I respect others might feel differently but again.. imo they aren't the greatest. That said the shirt, belt, and jacket are all truly amazing and if it is indeed that his left jacket collar on mine needs to be futz alittle better then I am a very happy customer.

Re: [YUNSIL] - SHipping Soon!- Tony Soprano Clothing Set-

Not your fault bud no need to apologize. Seems like a personal beef between two boardies.

For the record I agree that for the price we pay we expect near perfection from yunsil.

I think the pants are good though which is my subjective opinion like anyone else's. But that being said; i actually think everything is too big because honestly the fat suit is too big iminimes was too small, this is too big.

That being said though I realize in the last season he got a lot fatter

Generally speaking there can be a profit for the run orginizer. In most cases this is how it goes.

The way I look at it their mark up is warranted, they handle all of the producing and the shipping. This takes a lot of time. They deserve a cut of the profit.

Re: [YUNSIL] - SHipping Soon!- Tony Soprano Clothing Set-

True. I know, I more wanted to challenge his thought that this run for put together for a profit. There are quality issues, but I don't know people are "feeling entitled to get every outfit they can think of". Plain and simple, if Yunsil and their team didnt want take it on or any project for that matter, they wouldn't. I'm sure just like here in America, they need to eat, pay rent and feed their families just like everyone else. Hence, taking on these projects to....make a profit ( maybe that's what he's talking about.) If there's a quality issue or someone feels its being rushed, take it up with the seller, not the buyer. These estrogen fueled rants in the forums are getting real old, real quick.

Re: [YUNSIL] - SHipping Soon!- Tony Soprano Clothing Set-

I totally agree with that and quite frankly the value of any one thing is only directly a result of what someone is willing to pay for it. The current model seems to be working well for yunsil steam why would they change anything even if there are slight defects as any hand made thing would have anyways.

That being said, despite all of that it is my estimation that the last few yunsil projects I've owned are superior to any other outfit in my collection, a few that I have paid considerably more for than what I paid for the yunsil projects.

Funny how an open board now has rules made up by members...lol only allowed to say " it's amazing!". I own tons of Yunsil's work. I think I've supported her enough over the years to have a relevant opinion of her work as does Rob, lol. Sorry Comatoast....Our comments have ZERO to do with you. Your "host" reputation was never brought into question now was it? We just happen to feel the QC is slipping as did your customer via his own honest comments. Andrew has always spoke his mind with his honesty. Proud that he did here.

Re: [YUNSIL] - SHipping Soon!- Tony Soprano Clothing Set-

Ok the outfit needs better QC....it happens. Didn't Rainman and the butcher V2 have issues with the vest? Color of the jacket?
Problems happen regardless doesn't matter if it's Rainman or a clothing run.

Re: [YUNSIL] - SHipping Soon!- Tony Soprano Clothing Set-

I got my set yesterday. My head and hands are being painted. After reading the comments, I examined the collar on my jacket. Initially, it looked very uneven, but I flipped it up to compare the two sides and they are cut exactly the same size; it's just where the fold came out after packaging and shipping. I think the crease in the collar can be re-set and it will be fine. I'm being very careful with the shirt, which is staggeringly good. I don't know how she does it. I won't be futzing with pant lengths for a while; my choice of body is still up in the air. I have many to choose from.

Re: [YUNSIL] - SHipping Soon!- Tony Soprano Clothing Set-

Were those concerns about overall quality and better QC brought up to the tailor directly? or just written here in an open board?

Treat that shirt like your first born child. It will snag on you even still. Mark my words :(

Sorry bud, what does snag means?, I'm afraid I will mess up my shirt haha.

Re: [YUNSIL] - SHipping Soon!- Tony Soprano Clothing Set-

Be super super careful.. basically if a thread in the fabric catches on anything (mine caught on pants Velcro) it will make a giant white line on the shirt pattern.
