Posted for comparison. Are these different fabrics? The new one is glossy? Looks a lot like Silk Specter's coat.

Looking at more pics of the screen used costume, I'm disappointed by that new coat material. It's not supposed to be a glossy brown, right? I understand that middle fabric is difficult to obtain but it looks a lot better than this new one, at least in these pics.

Do agree. I also think beating up/weathering it will help immensely.

Agreed. What some people said was true, it looks a bit too glossy for how its meant to be.

Agreed. It looks dark in that picture. And while weathering might bring down the shine it wouldn't do anything to lighten the color. His coat isn't heavily weathered anyway. It's a "fix" I think we'd all rather avoid.

Is it even that dark? I think it is just a crappy quality photo. I bet with no flash and in better lighting it would look nice.

I don't think that's a flash, just overhead lighting. And yes, it looks darker than Rorschachs coat.
It's not a question of "looking nice". Everything I've seen from Yunsil is well made and looks nice, looking screen accurate is the real trick. Good material for Silk Specters coat or an Indiana Jones jacket but for Rorschach it doesn't appear correct.
Apparently Yunsil has had difficulty getting the right fabric and settled for this. I'd like to see more pics but if this material had been shown instead of the previous brown swatch I don't think I would have purchased this.

I'm cautious about purchasing these things sight unseen and didn't purchase at first as I knew the coat material would be the real challenge and focal point but the previous swatch sold me as I said. I understand things happen but I feel a bit duped. I've purchased many items from Yunsil at this point but this is the first one I've been disappointed by. Maybe additional pics will turn me around but I'm not holding my breath. :/
