Very nice. Super pumped for these dudes.

Did you guys do any work on the outfits or you've just been concentrating on the sculpting and body mods?

i think he may or is cancelling the custom rum since 3A are the holders of the 1/6 TWD license...they teased a pic of Michonne's zombie brother and boyfriend....they looked pretty cool....and will prolly be a whole lot cheaper....would have been nice to still have gotten 8-Bits....:-/...thanks for trying though...:)

we're definitely grabbing up the accessories for our own private customs ;)

eh, it's definitely for the best since more people can have these in their collection at a level of quality that is fantastic in 3A :)

pretty much i guess - i mean, i think the quality will be top notch with the release and there's always the aftermarket repaint thing if not.

we will probably just offer individual upgrades if people want them, but not a finished custom anymore.

i still need to talk to J.P. to see what he thinks about the situation.

I'm not on the list but I just wanted to say I rather have 8BC stay afloat rather than completely shut down...but sad news to hear such a beautiful project being scrapped.

Yea dude, wrap your brain around it before you decide to pull the plug. Just because someone got the license isn't necessarily doomsday. All we saw was one proto shot so far. Granted it looks pretty good but we don't know how the production piece will measure up to the proto and we don't know when these will even be available.

Just look at HT vs. Iminime's Gordon. To this day I still believe that Iminime buried HT's attempt. IDK how the production piece will change but right now they look more like they have white guy hair in the promo. IDK about everyone else but you still have my interest. It may be wise to see a few more pics and find out more info on this before you decide to kill it ;)

Wow....shocked by this news. I was really lookiong forward to having these guys on my shelf. Sorry 8-Bit.

I echo all that was said, I was still buying your set, oh well time to move on

I understand the thinking, but honestly David and JP are doing the right thing in at least suspending the offering until the reveal is made (probably later this week at SDCC). The 3Zero offering looks pretty good and if 3A's other releases are any indication the weathering and accessories will be pretty good. Let's wait and see what those figures look like... if they are well made and worthy additions then RIP can just move onto something else (i suggested the Zombie Girl from season 1 as a great companion piece to the many season 1 Ricks out there) if the 3 Zero release is bad or subpar than David and JP can proceed as Im sure many will be looking to improve the quality of their figures.

Plenty licensed companies have hick-ups and QC issues. For all we know we could get Threezero's in hand and will be wishing that we had these instead. Problem is we won't know ... till they're in hand!...

MIKE & TERRY ;)

i'll add some dirt weathering to the skin after the custom comes together - this is just the head/torso paint

we're still not sure what we're going to do but we're going to go ahead with our own customs for sure. it really, really depends on the SDCC announcement, but it's looking like it might be an upgrade situation, if need be, with existing threezero accessories.
