Run 2 update, June 2020

@all: At this point please no longer sell or buy spots with open balances, it would delay things.

• In the meantime I checked and boxed all pairs that are finished
• Acc. to my notes I shipped 41 pairs of run 2 by now
• I will send out further DMs this weekend and in the upcoming week
• Further shipments follow directly after that

There was another question about the signature cards and the Joker Shoes playing cards that came with run 1, so I answer it to everybody.

• Yes, also each pair of run 2 comes with a numbered signature card

• And yes, I decided to also add one Joker Shoe playing card in the evidence bag for you to each pair of run 2 to say thanks for your patience

For those who did not see it before, it is a small artwork Ale and I created in the style of the TDK playing cards as giveaway for this project in run 1. You can also use the evidence bag to put another card inside (e.g. from your Hot Toys Joker figure) to create this prop replica:

Update

Now that we are close to finishing this project (run 1 is shipping and final run 2 is coming along nicely) I want to take the time to express my admiration and respect for Ale's and Pete's parts in this project.

Ale sculpted these by hand, 100% from scratch and Pete took the time to paint every single pair with the same attention to detail. My part was starting and running this project. We took multiple loops in every working step together until we were satisfied and nobody gave up until we reached that. It was a great experience.

As I posted before, it was also only possible because of the patience of everybody on the list, so thanks again for that. Though I would have loved to deliver these faster, it is a custom project after all and I think to most it is the result that matters.

Some impressions of the moment, will post some more on instagram these days.

Boxing is going on, first shipments finally as good as on the way. Will send out the tracking IDs right after.

Since Yunsil's probably spot-on 1/6 Joker outfit is in the making, I teamed up with a talented artist to create suitable TDK 1/6 Joker shoes for you.

As you can see on the reference picture, both the DX01 and DX11 shoes left room for improvements:

Each pair is handmade with a lot of attention to detail so this is limited, while we needed at least 25 to make it happen.

Will you be offering some for sale when they are in stock? After the calculator watch incident, I am hesitant to put down any money before seeing the final product, not to mention the prototype. I'd totally be down for 2 pairs if it is the case.

We do not plan to offer another run but we guarantee to offer a refund if we don't have the final shoe pairs ready to ship by end of July so you're also protected by PayPal in any case as we will not ask for final payments before.

Though also the calculator watches were finished and delivered in the end, there is no doubt it took much to long and the communication should have been better at my end.

Hence the cooperation with Ale on this and possible future projects. I know his skills so it makes a lot of sense to work with him as the goal is to create the most accurate 1/6 Joker shoes ever seen. He will do most of the work on this project.
