Not exactly. Both Yunsil and I have projects going in tandem all the time. The issue we're having with Hook is getting 50 people onboard for Yunsil to agree to do it. That is the hold up.
I hope so too! Hang in there, we'll make it work one way or the other.

I say keep it at 31 since there were the same amount of Pan's made. Those who passed on this will regret it as always so i would press on with it.
I can guarantee there's zero chance we get to 50. If only 31 people jumped on for Pan, who wasn't going to cost nearly as much and is a figure of a now departed icon, I can't see anymore than who ordered Pan being in for Hook, and even then I'd say maybe 20 out of that group going all in as this one is going to break the bank. Really hope Yunsil reconsiders that number. Either way, I'm in no matter what or how long Hook takes to get made.
We're still held up because of the clothing. I'm still trying my best to get it off the ground (50 or not) but it's definitely not going to start until sometime early next year. I'll keep you posted.

Looks like I’ll have to sell Pan....seriously doubt this is going. If there are no talks or convo about this project pretty much says it’s a wrap.
The project is holding until the new year. See the post right above yours it already answers you. We currently have 31 interested not including the people we pick up when Scott sends out an email to his buyers / followers.

This is basically the most complicated figure to ever be tackled by any artist. Because there haven't been any recent developments, you need to sell Pan? [emoji848][emoji848][emoji848] lol. By all means, please do. The character apparently didn't mean enough to you in the first place. I swear, this hobby and the "collectors" it's comprised of make me want to perform a lobotomy on myself.

I agree. It's like, why do you even get into this hobby in the first place. For me it's 1. The movie, I gotta love the movie. I mean I watch it a **** load, so many times I can say lines usually. 2. That certain character that I loved in the movie. Some how you identify with him/her or their beliefs (even though mostly fictional) there's something about that person. 3. Then the the artist and their take on that person. what it;s worth in the long run I don't care. It's nice to make money and sometimes you gotta make room , but if your only goal is worrying about future value, I think that type doesnt belong on here. That's just my opinion.

It wasn’t about value. The purchase wa made because I wanted a companion figure to make it a set for my father who is a fan of the movie. He loves both characters, this has nothing to do about money value.

Yunsil asked me to contact her in the new year about the Hook project because of it's complexity and her being so busy.
So I did. Here is her response to if it will be possible and when can she start.
[ Hook project ]
"It is possible, but not easy.
You know, this projects are unusual and VERY difficult work.
We don't exactly know some design elements there.
It is difficult to give an estimate as of now.
We can set exact the sample and unit price after she make a sample.
As she said before, the outfit is VERY VERY expensive, that's for sure.
If you don't mind the cost, I can schedule a sample work in June.
It will take about two months to make the sample.
Please consider carefully before proceeding with this project."
I usually cover the sample cost for my projects but this will likely be out of my reach. If you guys want to proceed I will need non-refundable deposits to cover part of that cost and to insure that we have 30 people on board. If the 30 deposits are not received in time then we will refund and cancel the project. As of right now I assume she is okay to proceed with 30 units and not the 50 she required last year.
I have also asked a few different tailors to see who is up for this challenging project. Some have said, after some thought, "no" and others I'm still waiting for a response. If I hear anything further I'l be sure to update you guys.
In the meantime know that this will be an expensive project and will require a deposit and let me know if you are still in.

In for sure. Pan is lonely.
I think we all knew getting into this that it would be one of the most ambitious / expensive outfits out there. I am more than fine with paying a deposit
