hi Dave to be honest in my opinion the pictures i took with the figures lying flat on the wooden table best represent the scale ,could be something to do with the closeness of the table in the background lessening the distortion of the lens ,either way i hope that they will help you make up your mind but not close off the possibility of them to you :)

maybe wait until someone with decent skills and a device whos more skilled at capturing these things comes along :duff

Was the size/scale issue resolved with v6?

The pictures look like its a little underscaled.

Edit: If Phicen body is recommended, which body should we get?
 
Yeah what has me concerned is that the size looks perfect on the Phicen body, when it really shouldn't.

It's probably subtle, but here's that pic after I increased the head size a bit.

hmm, well I d be willing to rescale if everyone chimes in and lets me know what they think! I have to admit, I ve been using a phicen body to help scale since I dont own the HT WW body so this is actually the first time I have seen the head on the body!
 
Maybe if Libby could take another full body shot on that same table? Or hold the HT head up right next to it?

Sorry, not trying to be a pain here, or hog the thread. I just really love the sculpt and want it to look its best on the figure. :)

sure Dave will do ,ill get on it tomorrow when the lights better ,how do you want it lying down full body ,side by side head comparison shots

Well some of the earlier photos with it side by side with the hot toys head look pretty similar in size.... painted and haired would make a lot of difference, I’m sure. Those pictures on the table look absolutely fine to me scale wise

Yeah that should work fine. Full body, and taken from a distance to minimize distortion. And with the HT head next to it for comparison. :)
 
Danoby2 said her head was way oversized. But I guess make some for hot toys and do closed mouth only for phicen. That way those wanting a more muscular female swapping costume has a head

Yeah I remember Waruna offering two different size options for his Routh Superman sculpt... but somehow I don't see Sean wanting to go through that trouble.

Just as another comparison, here's my WW next to Jyn. Pretty obvious size difference there I think (even with the WW having a slightly longer face).

it's tricky, the heads are more or less the same size, mine being a tad smaller, and like Groovy said people have complained about the HT being too large, so it really is a fine line. If push comes to shove I ll print at a larger size, but as I am already doing two heads, (mouth open and mouth closed) that would be an additional two heads on top, so it really depends on the interest and how many get sold (and I am sure you guys are waiting for some painted versions to decide!)

here you go Dave ,adopted my usual "throw enough s£it at the wall and some might help " approach ,hope these help ,in hand with the hair im happy with it ,no doubt but as always some folk mileage may vary ,painted up would make such a difference ,ill get my nephew to chuck some paint on one over the weekend and get back to you :)

Well the only complaints I've seen about the HT head being too large are from those trying to use it on the Phicen body. I've never seen any complaints about the size in the BVS thread for the figure (just the usual ones about the likeness, expression, etc). And to me the proportions look about as perfect as can be:

I will say the size seems to look better in Libby's newest pics though (at least from what I can see with my magnifying glass ;)). It could still be a hair bigger and the eyes and mouth could line up better, but it thankfully doesn't seem quite as small as the Jyn head.

Well larger head will make using Kumik wig impossible

To be honest the Barbiesque poly vinyl used for her legs used for ww body is Cheep and eventually limbs won’t hold pose. Plus phicen muscular body has more visual muscle.

If skin is treated correctly it will last for years to come. Vinyl bodies warp over time.

The bvs stand is taller they are actually very close in height
