We now have a base model physically printed with finalised size and proportions. After more planning and experimentation, we decided the best way to make the bodies would be casting the body in parts and hiding the seams under pads/the shell. This is the same way the 1:1 were made but using silicone instead of latex rubber.
Financing this ourselves and working between projects really dragged out the project so have decided to take a small deposit to get things moving.
Anyone who commits $150 (to be paid before 1st March) to help develop the first Turtle body will be guaranteed a spot for every subsequential Turtle and an exclusive accessory with each figure.
Schedule/Payments:
Saturday 15th May, fully silicone body will be unveiled and the next payment $350 will be taken.
Saturday 15th August, fully prototype figure will be posted and next payment $450 will be taken
20th November Final balance plus postage will be taken with finished figures shipped the following week.
Total for Raphael will be $1350 plus postage and any PP fees.
A maximum of 20 figures will be offered.
