Bar Marion.....
and Bond Tux, Doc Holliday.

Marion Ravenwood, shirt/camisole/scarf (bar scene from Raiders)
1. Bucky Underbelly,
2. Murderofcrows71,
3. Indiana Fett,
4. mightyq,
5. Jimmy C,
6. Wor-Gar,
7. Gruff Old Bear,
8. ChibiSchmoo,
9. Mfisher
10. Spartan Rex

That's 10!!! Who would have thought Bar Marion would hit double digits in 2nd place after Doc Holiday? Glad to know there's 10 people eager to finish their Bar Marion.

I hope that's enough to get the shirt and scarf underway. At least pricing. Let me know if you need ref.

Marion Ravenwood, Let me know if you need ref.

Yes, add'l reference photos would be very helpful. Thanks!

In fact, and this of course goes for all requested items... the more reference pics, the more accurate the 1/6 piece will be, naturally. So please include reference pics!

Here's the ref I promised. Sorry to post them here but I figured maybe other Marion fans might have some even better ref to share. I will delete this post if you'd rather not have pics pile up like this.

Just so you know, the SCARF is green silk with a golden dragon on it with ruby red eyes. At least that's what I'm told.

Thanks!

Random clothing like jeans an t shirts would not be practical as they are in great supply at reasonable prices already... For these projects to be profitable she needs to stick to character specific costumes that we cannot source in 1/6... Like the raven bar clothing, accurate white tux jacket etc....

Agree.

(I suppose, however, there may be a few perfectionists among us, who would prefer the more expensive, expertly-tailored custom piece over the far cheaper, mass-produced version, but profitability, even then, would depend on several of these collectors.)

Here's a couple more I found that are larger and clearer:

Nice photos, but it's still hard to figure out the pattern of the scarf and detailing on this blouse... which means one of two "solutions":

1. keep looking for references, perhaps contacting Lucasfilm archives or the actual costumer on the film, for closeups... or

2. go with what we know, sacrificing some details that we can't make out, and figure, hey, if you can't tell, you can't tell...

Hi dchung!

The Doc Holliday's outfit option has the most number of people interested in. However, we do not have "more info and consensus on pattern and pieces". In case a specific outfit is decided upon by everyone interested, do you think the seamstress can take it up as a project?

Star Puffs has the pattern!!!!

I am making my own outfit, but I am happy to share the basic pattern unit with everyone:

picture.php

It repeats symmetrically right-left and up-down.

The image is blown up 10x. If any one can host the full-image, which is 624 x 1050 (720 ppi), for maximum quality printing, please PM me.

Basically to make use of this you would need to understand printing on fabric using an inkjet. I recommend matte silk, which appears to be what she wears.

I agonised over the colours, which differ dramatically depending on the lighting. I am fairly certain the little design is a heraldry symbol of a lion rampant on a shield with a crown above it, although I sort of guessed at the later in terms of specific design.

I have shown her the pictures and she is up for the task! We just need to decide which particular outfit... There's been at least 3 different ones in this thread:

Option A:

Option B: (different vest)

Option C:

Let's put it to a vote: A, B, or C for Holliday?

That's great!

So is that the highest res image available, or do we need to track it down from SP?

He asked if someone can host his hi res image of 624 x 1050 (720 ppi) to contact him. I really have no idea but if you can host that size, shoot him a PM.

That said, I know he was willing to share this with the group, but he may be less tolerant of someone asking for more help when they will be making $ off his effort. Tread lightly my friend.

That sounds Great! :)

My vote goes for the 1st outfit/A.

I'd like to point this out: The first and second outfits differ a lot. Its not just the vest, but the pattern of the Shirt, the colour and length of Coat/Jacket (the first one's longer), and lastly, the pants in the second one are navy blue with stripes, where as the first one is grey/black.

I do not have the HD pics as of now. In case someone can put up some Blu-ray screen shots, it'll be much clearer. An example of the first outfit:

P.S.: Honestly, I'd just like a to have a Doc outfit with a Coat/Jacket, be it either of the first two. :)

Notice the B&W reference photo:

Some enhancement in photoshop might glean additional detail.
Looks like the heraldry is a little different.

That was my thought too. I would be happy with either A or B, as long as he comes with a coat. Frock or Sack coat.
