Finally got this out and together. Painted the pipe today too. Boots are on thier way.
I agree that the smock weathering is a bit "forced", but overall I'm pretty happy with the results. Really would like an actuall straw hat to go with it though.

Great photo comatoast! What boots did you get? Yes we need a proper straw hat.

Robbie do you think you can take this on and include with your accessories set? I know your busy as **** at the moment but I thought I'd ask anyway;)

I had forgotten about the boots. Was this something we were hoping Robbie would take on? I sure hope so.

Re: 1/6 Vincent Van Gogh clothes set by cult king

Come on guys

Iris tailor

Rocco on head hat hands pipe ect

Robbie the painter officially is in on the project for wooden accessories and real leather boots

Real leather boots, is this still a go?

I was thinking of posing him standing pipe in hand, staring at the canvas on an easel with the smock hanging on the back of a chair. Maybe have some paintings stacked up or raw sketches.

As a placeholder for the boots, until Robbie's are available, I went ahead and picked these up off eBay..

I wanted to share some experimenting I did this weekend for those that don't follow me on Instagram.
These are far from final but I wanted to get started.

I ended up having two art teachers working on this yesterday. There was a third art teacher, but when she referred to our little guys as "dolls", I had to ask her to leave. Let me know what you think

I think it looks great! I kinda wish I hadn't decided to tackle 1 last project before leaving the hobby such a cool piece to own! Almost pulled the trigger on this set a few times. :horror The paint added looks really good it doesn't look overkill and actually show's quite nicely! Fantastic work and a great team effort! :duff

I had to laugh at the fact you had to ask the 3rd teacher to leave because she called it a doll :rotfl:rotfl
