Anyone know if the jacket buttons are black or silver?

Actually I guess they look kinda gold. Wish I could find a production pic of the pants. I kinda feel grey looks better lol

Wanted to quote but my browser isn't supported by the new system: Re the Nazi dream sequence, agreed that it's there because of the character's jewishness (and his mate Goodman's). Not forgetting that Landis himself is jewish. Quite a bit of ethnic promotion altogether in that movie...should be "Jewish Werewolf in London" really. No, just saying.

The sculpt is marvellous, Caine. Look forward to seeing the others if you do them.

Had to post these pics and YouTube video of the paint job my friend Stephen Maurice did for my curly sculpt, he absolutely excelled on this and he considers himself a novice!!! Anyone in two minds about this sculpt ....jump on it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7I6XtZbDz2o

Looks great Sundance... one thought is the head looks like it's sitting up pretty high. When I was working with mine I found the head was up way too high if I used the short neck plug the head was designed for. So I broke apart a long neck plug and then just puttied the rubber connector into the bottom of the head, doing that retained the articulation, but gave him a much better appearance.

Just the head as I'm not done with the rest of the body, but hopefully you can see what I mean about the height of the head in relation to the shoulders:

Probably too late to answer... but in watching the clip in HD on Youtube I think the buttons are green and the pants are the same green color as the tunic.

What looks like green buttons on the Tunic:

Pants look like an identical shade of color as the tunic, and seemingly the same in the other scenes:

You are absolutely right about this neck!
Thank for the tip :wink1:
I have also to make the body more beefy now.

Glad I could help :duff

Don't know what body you're using... but the ACE and DAM bodies are a great beefier build for a figure like this and you can get them loose for under $15.

I used a TTM18 and, in fact, made this figure with my old box of loose...so I can say, it is not really a WIP, perhaps a pre-WIP :rotfl
I will look on the bay for one of these bodies.

Re: American Werewolf in London - NAZI DEMON "Curly" UPDATE: PAINTED PICS - by CAINE

Looks good for a pre-wip... I'd actually bought a uniform for this figure years ago when another member talked about making one. So it's just been sitting in my parts bin waiting for Caine. But in the meantime the boots and belt went to another project so I need to rebuy those :lol

Happy to see these customs coming together! Looking great!

Yes, same for me.
I needed to stole my "Days of Future Past" wolvie boots to give to Curly boy...
Actually, searching newline german boots for him.

Thanks master Caine :wink1:

Thanks for sharing those great reference pics GB! Just about done with mine. Waiting to get the head back from 8 bit. Anyone know the accurate knife or where to get one close to it?

I saw a few knifes by Dragon on Toys Soldier Brigade that looked like they had about the right shape... but you'd need to paint them.

Didn't do an extensive search, but that's the best I found readily available from the parts stores I frequent.
