Hey guys. While the mouth pieces have been remolded it is now the cowls turn. We were starting to get ear warping and that's not acceptable. So the new mold will be cut up the sides all the way to the tip of the ears for a full and easy release.

My caster was getting a lot of breaking as well so this should solve both problems. For something that is smooth and looks simple - it has been a beast to get clean casts out.

The current mold is cut up the back and could be sanded out fairly easy but the ears are not workable.

So I will be meeting him this friday to pick up a new batch of shoes (Nucky) and see how things are progressing.

The guy is not a hack BTW - He actually started the first garage kit companies in the US back in the 80's so it's in good hands but everything presents it's own challenges.

If I get some of the new casts Fri I will post.

So Ill be back on here then either way to let you all know what's up.

Also talked to Natchan - he is ready to paint.

Picked up about 4 casts today! They are coming out great I have mold lines on the left and right to clean up but that's no big deal. NO MORE EAR WARPS

New faceplates are going under rubber today. So hope to have a few of the unpainted shipping out next weekend or the monday after.
