Hey guys, apparently there was a glitch in how these were scanned by USPS after they were picked up for shipping. No worries, it happened on another package a couple weeks back and they straightened out the tracking and the package arrived just fine.

Update for this weekend - I have a few more sets I'll be shipping out this weekend. As I mentioned before, the caster I had hired for this job was not able to get good casts to turn out due to the method he was using, it seems. So I've been pouring them myself as I'm able.

Good news - I just made arrangements with a new caster today and he will be taking over casting the sets as of next week. He estimates he can get around 10 sets produced per week. If that production estimate is correct, then we are on track to have all remaining orders finished in about 3-4 weeks. Remember to check the order list at the top of this thread to see if your order has shipped; your name will be in italics if yours has already shipped or is ready to ship. It may seem like order fulfillment is moving slowly by looking at the list, but keep in mind that most of you ordered multiple sets.

I'm posting this general business update in every active thread I have right now. Thanks for reading.

BUSINESS CHANGES: Over the past 6 months I have made significant changes in my business practices. Some will be visible and some won't. My wife, Lady CREG on here, has come on as Director of Operations and is overseeing all administrative duties such as customer service, shipping, order keeping and fulfillment, replacements when needed, etc. She has completely turned this ship around and heading in a fantastic direction. I am no longer taking final payments for any projects until I have the final product in hand. We have done some things to make the ordering process more streamlined. I also have a new shipping system in place that makes the process more automated and gives each customer a shipping notification when their order is ready to mail. Things are running quite smoothly now. I've been able to find some really quality casters/manufacturers to work with and have secured one caster per project. Most importantly, product is getting produced and shipped in a much more timely manner. It is my hope that you can and will see the positive impact of these changes in current and future projects.

If I did not cover something you are needing to ask then feel free and I will get with you asap.

I want to thank you all for your patience in this process and the understanding you have extended to me. It's help get me through some rough spots when all of this has gone to chaos a few times. I keep doing this because I truly enjoy this hobby and like making products for you all to enjoy, too.

I will update more as necessary.

UPDATE - The new caster started making casts this week. We are having him make an extra set of molds for each Butcher item to speed up production. Dean talked to him tonight and he has told us that he will be producing casts as quickly as possible next week. I emailed him the final amount we need to finish everyone's orders so things should be moving along fairly fast. As always, once we have product in hand, we will ship out immediately.

Just spoke with the caster again. He estimates that he'll have all remaining casts made by the end of next week. We'll start shipping the items out the week after that. That will have this entire production wrapped up.
