Yes, Trevor was the sculptor and caster. That means he was making them for himself and then offering them to the rest of us. He wasn't commissioned like Rocco is. Rocco ain't doing all of this work for free :lol
And frankly the more people that would sign up, the lower the cost per head is. Like I said, I tried to keep the costs down as low as possible (trying to avoid paypal fees, buying shipping boxes, etc, etc). The heads were priced as such if 15 people joined up, that would be the break even mark. And it looks like I estimated that right on for the most part.
I would have loved to have offered these at Trevor's price, but unless Rocco would have done them for free, it just wouldn't have been possible. Without massive amounts of people interested, $70 is really the lowest price for these. You'll notice just about every other Rocco thread is in that ballpark price give or take $5. After setting this whole thing up, I can definately appreciate the position someone else is in when they start an interest thread. They're tough. People drop out, ignore attempts at contact, people don't follow directions, etc. I felt like the IRS trying to get people to pay. I was even tempted to find Heul and have him chase some people into coffee tables to get them to pay :lol
So thanks all who came through in the end. The support is definately appreciated and I'm glad we were able to get these characters into our collections now. Hopefully some day they will be as desired as Trevor's Walter sculpts are now
