You're right about the Sideshow heads Barryo , where did you manage to pick them up loose ?

I bought them at T/A when they first started carrying them. These have been done a while, I had posted these in the ssc thread, just forgot to post them in here.

I can't seem to find any suitable gloves for these guys...I've checked ebay...TA...monkey depot. Any ideas?

The gloves used in the original costume were very basic "gardening" gloves , so the more basic the better in my opinion . You can always detail or texture them with strips of fabric or adhesive fabric bandage .

Thanks TG, the only canvas type gloves I can find are the ones that fit over bendy hands. I've never used bendy hands so don't know what the grip is like them.

And so it begins...

I have my three doner buck bodies and three old Hasbro figs.

I plan to remove the Tusken mask and glue it to the head.

I bought Aluminium tubing to (hopefully) do the eyes and tusks.

I plan in wrapping the feet and hands with cotton strips kinda like a mummy look.

I'm also going to make two custom outer robes.

I have also decided to try and make some pouches...here is my first effort.

Hoping to have all three done before the end of the month-ish!

Any tips are greatly appreciated.

looking great so far. love that pouch. well done

Thanks Barryo. Theres still a fair whack to go on these guys but I like the fact that there is a fair bit of creative licence that you can take with them.

Good stuff J! I really like the pouches so far!! Looking forward to seeing these come to life. :)

Ha I guess there was some benefit of pulling a 20hr shift in work...TA part stuff out at silly o clock over here is Ireland due to yime zones so I was wide awake when these were parted out. All I got were all hands and respirators plus two bandoliers. I cant wait to get my stuff now.

I really like these, dude, nice job. Got any more photos?

Nearly a year since I started these guys but I can see the finish line. I've moved house twice in the last year so customs were put on the back burner for a while.
