Was there ever any discussion about the cut ear? My preference would be for a normal ear, so I'd love it if others either concurred or didn't object, and you could possibly make that change.

Hey, what size do you want the head, in Millimeters? Looks like the original was larger, some like small heads, whats a good compromise size? Thanks! ill get this set up for printing.

Might be a good time to get confirmation of what the target body is for the clothing if it hasn't been mentioned yet - that'll help nail the head size.

Van Gogh was only 5'7" so that's something to keep in mind - I'd prefer to put the figure together with a slim body even if they're a bit more pricy and harder to find.

Is there any chance you can add some finer texture to both the hair and beard before going to print? It would really help to make it pop when painted.

And one more question. Is the left hand with the two extended fingers supposed to be the one with which he holds his palette? If so, that should actually be a right hand as Van Gogh was left handed.

A ginger and left handed. I know, scary.

sure I can try to get more detailed hair in there. so Switch the left and right hands? I can do that. Ill wait til Friday before going to print, get those payments in, to cover the print costs guys. Thanks!

IF the left hand is intended to hold the palette, then yeah, it should be the pose on the right hand. I've seen some Serang photos with the figure holding a palette in the left hand while painting which isn't correct. I'd rather go with accuracy than simply have all my figures right handed because I have something against lefties. (I don't, I swear... )

Is the sculpt based on how Serang sculpted Van Gogh or how Van Gogh actually looked? It seems to share more features of Serangs stylized sculpt than the actual Van Gogh self portraits.

Yeah he had a very distinct face, which was painted many times over. The shape of his nose, ears, etc is very distinct.
