I will be offering 3 different versions for Clark Griswold. I have tried to provide a price range to accommodate most. Whether it’s those who are just looking for the essentials and only want Clark in the famous light up pose looking stunned or maybe those who want to add the optional smiling sculpt in the deluxe edition or even the hardcore collectors wanting all three of them, the stunned, smiling, and the angry sculpts then the Platinum version is where your gonna want to be. The Platinum will also come with a very generous free gift.
Rocco The Sculptor once again brings the fun as well as the likeness to Clark Griswold with this next project we have lined up. He is the sculptor for the portraits, hat, gloved hands, socks/shoes and the extension cord ends. I will be painting head sculpts using the most hyperrealistic techniques I can put forth. They will have rooted hair in the back and sideburn areas as well as real hair for the eyebrows that I literally plant 1 small hair at a time. All of these hair rooting techniques will have no visible signs of glue. The head sculpts will have magnets to allow for easy swap-out of the hat no matter which version head sculpt you want to display. His Chicago Bears hat will be painted in a dark blue with orange/red color for the lettering. Gloved hands will be a yellowish fawn type color. Brown textured shoes with socks. A slightly modified Worldbox AT020 Pro body will be used for this project. GeeWhiz Customs shows us why customs is in his name with the custom printed red and green Christmas sweater that matches the one Clark wears perfectly, a nice tailored olive green jacket with hood and dark gray pants. Bleau also went even further with a dad bod type body suit under the clothing to help bring more of the Clark physique. Andy Manoloff (Doggie Docs) shows why he continues to be a top tier artist with the reindeer, sled and Santa yard ornaments. Painted in a type of way to give it a cheap plastic appearance. The reins of the reindeer will have a light up feature as well as the Santa and sled (not shown in prototype). Santa himself will be removable to give a kick scene or a hit Santa scene like in the movie. Lastly the plugged and unplugged electrical cords. Andy will also be providing the box and foam for this project. Branson Mills will one again provide us with the snowy environment. Creating various hyperrealistic snow texture for the front yard. Behind Santa and the reindeer shows the countless times Clark has walked backed and forth compressing the snow and showing signs of disruption in the snow while keeping the snow unbothered and soft under the reindeer and Santa. He will also have some snow effects on his shoes. Branson will also build us the black wood base to give a sleek clean finished look to the piece.
I have tried my hardest to bring the best Clark Griswold that I can. I already see areas and I’ve started a list for improving this piece for the production run. I will ask the artist to make some small changes but nothing drastic. As always thank you for your support and I hope to bring you the Clark Griswold fun experience with the final product.
