Alright finally got a little extra time to paint these guys. THey really are very nice. I have included tons of photos... in particular comparisons to the DX11 shoes.

hello~ DoggieDoc,

This version is worse than the earlier version of ale customs. Your color is not loyal to the shoes in the movie. It looks like metal shoes. The circle in the picture is the place to be improved, and the other is the shoelace is purple? I still prefer the version of ale customs painted earlier, the shoes that are more loyal to the movie.

I followed an exact paint recipe as directed by Ale. The instructions he gave me indeed have purple shoelaces. If it need some on be toned down then fine.

Regarding the circled areas I completely disagree with the heel. There is no discernible difference so I'm not even sure what you're referring to. The front of the shoe could perhaps be darker but at the same time you must expect some variation. These are hand painted and every shoe will not look 100% identical.

Doggiedoc ,

Is it also possible to consider sending the unpainted casts out to folks on the third run if DoggieDoc is not agreeing to painting those?

@Fan how is the planning now? When can you send Andy the casts from the first run?

We're organizing that right now, actually

Would be cool if Andy also decides to paint the third run but from an artist's POV I would fully understand if he doesn't want to paint more. There will be no unpainted casts but I got to know one more talented painter who is interested in painting run 3.

So this is pretty much a 99% confirmation that the final 3rd run will happen.

Still interested in buying someone’s spot or being added to the third run. Thank you.

You already are on the list for run 3.
