I agree with you Jagg. I'm confused on your options though. When you say laughing sculpt with hat does that mean bald? and when you say laughing sculpt with hair does that mean sculpted hair?

Also confused on the options jagzz, and I agree with doggiedoc a bald sculpt with side hair is what's needed. Personally the hat is part of this jokers look and I don't think I would want to display him with out it. It also needs to sit perfectly not like the hot toys. If we are getting the best tailored outfit for him he needs the best tailored hat, so 100% in on striped box, a sculpted hat just wouldn't compare in my opinion.

Yes the sculpted hat is with the bald and side hair option, because if it's have hair it can't be sit perfectly.
So Balloonman will sculpt the hat first, and if you guys want to upgrade your set using stripedbox we can arrange that, but at least for people who are okay with sculpted hat can use the sculpt right away.

Assuming the sculpt with hair (option b) ends up as the majority choice, how would one go about having a hat made to fit it? At that point, is striped box still an option, or is the hat completely off the table for this project?

Yup there's no option for the fabric hat yet, because I still need to arrange that with Tattiana, and she want to do this again next year. There's people asking for Balloonman doing a sculpted hat, and asking how much, that's why I provide this information and the options.

Yes again correct, that's why on the option B there's no sculpted hat, it's basically self explanatory there.

Stippedbox still an option but she will need to see her schedule next year, after this sculpt is ready. That's why I give the sculpted hat option first, and later on if you want to upgrade to fabric hat you can. That's basically the whole point. Definitely not off table, just need to arrange it and fit in on her schedule.

It's definitely possible Andy, so you want basically a Laughing Sculpt with bald head and side hair, right?, that's also a possibility.

Hey Jagzz, thanks for all the replies pal, think you've nailed it with the option of ballonman sculpting the hat and then hopefully tattiana also down the line, makes sense. To be fair, looking at all the Indy's with sculpted hats sometimes they really look like the real deal. And taking into account ballonmans attention to detail I reckon we could get a pretty amazing piece if he's able to get the brim of the hat thin enough.

It looks like there's currently more people interested in the hat, but they're split on the expression. Just a thought, but it might be worth considering two polls: "hat vs no hat" and also "smile vs cynical". I think we may have too many options at this point.

I agree too many options but I DON'T agree on the "split" between the expressions. Look at that poll... 3 options are the laughing sculpt, with a total of 14 votes. The cynical expression option only has 5. To me it's clear the laughing expression is the winner. Then it's just a matter of hat, not hat, bald, etc.

Honestly if the cynical expression is chosen after this voting pattern I'd be pretty frustrated.

I know we have talked about this previously but now we have chosen the laughing expression thought i'd bring it up once more as it's something I would really love to happen. There's no doubt we all want the classic outfit with the orange shirt but due to this expression seen multiple times in the movie with the teal shirt is there a possibility we can ask the yunsil team to create both shirt colours using the same prototype/template if there are people that would like both and don't mind paying an extra cost?

Personally I'm not going to sell my hot toys joker when I have this so would be great to have some variety in outfits. Would be good to know if others feel the same? I know Jack doesn't wear the same tie in the teal shirt, the images below show our laughing expression and in one he has a tie and the other a bow tie. It's really hard not to be hyped about this project

I never got the hot toys version, but now I really don't have an interest in it, -maybe I'll pickup the odd accessory here and there, though.

I wouldn't be opposed to extra "a la carte" options for clothing, but I'm not sure if that would work with any minimums or schedules that the tailors may have. I'd actually like to get the coat, just because I'd like to have the whole "classic outfit".

It's really easy to pile on stuff for this project, just because it's such a fantastic opportunity for a fantastic actor and character, but I could also see a whole bunch of successful projects after this one. We could keep @jagzz busy for a long time
