I've had various gastrointestinal problems, the main one was Menetrier's Disease. If you google that it will try to auto-correct it into something else. It's very rare, and possibly a precancerous condition. They aren't sure.
All I know is I passed out at work one night (I was a 911 emergency calltaker/dispatcher), went to the doc the next day, and got progressively worse. Felt like I had the flu for three months.
Loooong story short: almost two years of experimental chemo treatment kept me going, but then it got worse again, so the "cure" was to remove my entire stomach.
I've had lots of problems ever since. My hobbies keep me distracted at the best of times. Thanks for asking, I don't mind talking about it but I feel like I should probably cut this short since I've gone so far off-topic.
