Hi guys,

Updates on the prototype, I think it's getting there.. but I do think the jacket need to be much loose..
What you guys think?, any inputs will be greatly appreciated.

I think the material is great... the color is MUCH better than the weirdo grey of the Hot Toys version. Only criticism I have is the thickness. In the film the material looks a bit thinner. If at this scale that's hard to achieve then it's understandable. As long as the suit can be appropriately wrinkled, I think it's fine. I'm not sure how much "looser" it needs to be... but perhaps it is tailored to his body a bit too perfectly... especially around the waist?

The back story in the films mentions his clothes being custom made and from the screenshot comparisons I don't think he quite has that "V" shaped torso/waist... Any other opinions?

DoggieDoc is correct, that the "V" shaped waist should be taken out. The film suit doesn't appear to have that. The suit looks like it "hangs" on him, like it's an "off the rack" suit. Pant legs look pretty long to me in the movie screenshot. "Thinner" material would be better if possible. I had thought the Joker was broke at the beginning of the movie, and had a cheap suit, then after the heist got his infamous custom expensive purple suit?? Not sure if I'm right there?

But this one should look a little baggy, thin, wrinkled, cheap. (IMO) Color of suit looks good. Shirt looks really good too, except again maybe "too well" tailored?

What's everyone else think??

On 2nd thought, the more I look at the photos, the more I'm liking it. The pants look good. The "V" shape waist in the jacket should go, and just make the jacket and shirt a little baggier and I think it works? The material does seem to have some nice wrinkles in it already, may be enough?

I'm not really too picky. Be great to have this sooner than later. Been waiting on the Purple Suit Joker forever, so I'd love this one to have a quicker turn-around.

I agree with all of this.

I didn't mean to go too far with the critiques... as I said I think the material is actually quite good. Just the torso/waist of the coat is a tad too drawn in. And it's not often we want to make sure a material is wrinkly enough, haha!

At this point this is already 100x better than the Hot Toys version, what with the weirdo, completely inaccurate grey coloring.

Hi Andy & Rmsceb,

Totally agreed with you both on this.. the jacket I think still need a bit adjustment.. because like both of you said it's too tailored fit when the actual suit in the movie it's much more baggier and almost like he put a suit on that he found somewhere with no cares at all.

For the wrinkling part, we talked to Yunsil.. so basically this material is very easy to wrinkle.. but everyone I think have a different taste about wrinkles so I think when you get this set you can add the wrinkle yourself as per your liking.

And we also asking Yunsil to get the correct button for the shirt at least with the accurate color.. I think the pants already looks great, it really depends how we want to futz it.

Any other suggestion guys???

Btw I can't wait to see what andy's cooking with the joker accessories... yeahhh

I don’t have a horse in the race (unfortunately) but second the comments on the fit.

At present it looks like a tailored fit suit where it is 100% a regular fit suit. Hence the somewhat looser appearance on Heath.

It’s probably hard to pull off at this scale but the highly pointed sharp cut shoulders are throwing it off, for me at least. Needs to be slacker as if it’s been worn a lot of times.

Looks amazing however. :)

Hey Tim,

Thanks for the input man.. yeah it somehow need the extra touch of rugged finishing.. that makes the finishing more rough...
I think Yunsil already get what we want, hoping the final preview will be much more screen accurate!

Hey guys,

Here's new updates from Yunsil.. I think it definitely look more loose.. but I think at the end it depends how we want to futz the suit.
What you guys think?

- Still need to revise the waist part, because it's still V shape.. need to make it more straight line.
- Also need to shortened the pants, right now it's way too long.

I believe the jacket still requires some alterations. It is, in my humble, opinion too, “V” shaped. If we look at the stills from the film the jacket hangs straight without any classic V shaping. It’s more like a light summer suit. Which brings me to another point. The material appears to be too heavy of a material. And at least, from the lighting in Yunsil’s prototype the jacket appears to be of a different blend, weave and or material than the pants.

Just my two cents but our suit needs to match that, I just bought this off the rack at a thrift store vibe: light, pretty much untailored, inexpensive and wrinkly.

Food for thought.

Agreed brother, trying to get the hang right.. I hope Yunsil can revise this, I can't stress it out to her enough that the jacket need to have looser more like untailored, inexpensive looks, and wrinkly.. hope she can get the third revision right.

Honestly I'm not satisfied at all.

I think the issue is Yunsil is used to creating suits in 1/6 that are extremely tailored which is usually accurate to the subject matter.

Here however as I, and others, have correctly noted; that just is not correct for this suit.

It indeed needs to be slouchy and not fitted or tailored. I think what is really throwing it off as I mentioned previously are the harsh cut shoulders.

I agree with most of what's been said. Shoulders are a tad sharp, and the waist is still too fitted. The material isn't wrinkly enough but that is something we each can take care of on our own.

Is the material as thick at it looks?

Also is it as light as it seems? The issue with the hot toys version is it is essentially grey. This looks much more dark purple which i think is perfect... just wasn't sure if it seems a bit lighter due to her taking photos in a bright room.

I really agree with Elgreco; Definetly too "V" shaped still, too well tailored. And the material does look too heavy. The film suit almost looks like its made from Linen.

This exactly, "light, pretty much untailored, inexpensive and wrinkly", should describe the suit appearance.

However, I do think the pants length is good now, and they should NOT be shortened. If you look at the top image on the page, Heath's pants were very long and bunched up. This current length of the pants adds to that "off the rack", "non-tailored", "sloppy" look.

I do not join the ride (yet cos this project is more and more tempting), but I would like to know if finally you guys decide to lengthen the blazer sleeve instead of to make it shorter so the inner suit sleeve is a bit exposed like the 1st proto.

Id love to get in on this if anyone is looking to sell, but echo the sentiments that this has to be a way less structured look
I think you still can hop in but need to do it fast by contacting the Admin/Jagadhito

Guys thanks for all the feedbacks, I already sent it to Yunsil. Hope she can nailed the third prototype, we need to get this exactly right. So please be patient guys, perfection takes time :)

Can’t wait for this!!!

Here’s my hot toys version i customed. Is there gonna be a new headsculpt made for this project?
