Overall that is a bad looking figure.

Leathers are too stiff, there is no hang. Sculpt is nothing like Gibson. That shoulder pad is way too puffy and should be closer to the zipper.

How much was this again?
The leather really is not too stiff. That was one of the first things I noticed when I pulled mine out of the box. It is very thin and supple and hangs very well on my figure. Don't know what 's going on with the shoulder pad in all of these pictures. Mine sits right down on the shoulder and right up against the zipper. It covers a portion of the lapel or sits under it depending on your preference.

Hope we get the dog soon. Paid it in october and its been delayed several times. Some pics to remember him, hope painting is better than in the proto and wished they went for a fabric instead of sculpted scarf.

I still don't get how they messed the sculpt up so bad, the company that made Rigs & Braveheart. Those sculpts weren't perfect but you could instantly see the resemblance. I guess this sculpt will not get recast though, as its so poor.

I don't understand how/why an entire figure was redone - including clothes and finding a suitable oversized body - to accomodate an oversized sculpt. Are these sculpts done traditionally instead of digitally?

Cult King sculpts are always done traditional. They have never used 3D sculpting/printing.

I wish they had got Trevor Grove or someone of that ilk on this. Whoever sculpted this needs a new job.

Doesn't even faintly resemble Mel, Looks nothing like him, damn I'm nuts that I blew so much money on this.

Shells, do you have a TTM-18 or 19 figure that you can shoot next to this? Appreciate it. I'm hoping thay the clothing might fit a 19 or even a 20 and I guess I'll get a smaller sculpt. Really wanted to have this truer to body type. I was thinking of putting together a Lord Humungous - guess he'll really have to be humungous now...

I'm not hating on this company or anything, they have made some great figs, The Cowboy - Wall Street Killer - Dirty Harry etc. All of them were amazing sculpts. IDK now they could look at this sculpt and say '' yeah that looks good lets go with it '' :dunno
I guess in a way because they have such an amazing record on sculpt accuracy this is a real mystery as to how they got this so wrong?

Might do tomorrow, I'm so sleepy now.

Honestly, I saw this...

And I don't have as much of a problem with the sculpt itself - which i saw before purchasing - as I do with the fact that it's still so oversized (at least in the images that people have posted). Everything I saw, it was either disembodied or was whatever the sculpt in this image was - smaller version, photoshopped or on some other, more massive body. I mean for something at this price point it should be damn near perfect. In other words - you created a headsculpt that was oversized...redo it. I know it's a lot of work and may cut into profit but trying to "fix" it by putting on a giant body (and having it still be too big) I just don't feel is acceptable.

At least show a final and allow people who bought what they saw initially to bow out before building them all. Or throw in something. I realize this is a cottage business to some degree, but they are a business with a reputation to uphold. A reputation thats been mostly very good from my understanding which is, again, why I don't understand the approach to this. And it seems I'm not alone in this thinking.

You saw the prototype sculpt pics and still bought it

Denny told me that the body they used Wayne Rooney's body. Is a bit muscular. I'd say its between a ttm18 and ttm19.
Not bad,

here are some pics of the body,

Never ever did I think I would be exposed to pictures of a 1/6 Wayne Rooney arse whilst perusing a Mad Max thread. As an Evertonian, I feel like sticking a full size boot in it....whilst choking back a little bit of sick
