I chose not to get this figure, but enjoy seeing how things turn out, so have been watching this thread. Congrats for people who like, and sorry to hear those that don't.

Posting because i hear the head is large and people are looking for a body.

I never minded the size of the MJ Choi Die Hard sculpt, but a lot of people thought it was over sized too. I put mine on a SS Indy body, and to my eye looks pretty good proportions wise. I'm just posting up to show you that you might have an option for your body. The SS Temple Of Doom Indy.

For anyone distressed at the placement of the belt, you can loosen the shoulder strap above the wrench very easily. The buckle just slides. Then you can lower the belt to where you like it.

WTF is that the same sculpt but repainted, OMG how can a repaint make the sculpt look this much better?

If the sculpt can be salvaged then the fig might be worth keeping.

When do they send us the dog & battle damaged sculpt?

I think the sculpt is really good actually, not perfect but really good, with the right paint that is. The outfit looks fantastic as do the accessories from what I have seen. Still disappointed about the size issues but I'll reserve any more comments until I actually have it in hand. Hopefully my previous comments will prove to have been a little overboard.

Pose him on his own shelf is my best advice.
Mel was pretty slim in Mad Max 2, not skinny but he was very lean.

Might be worth seeing if the clothes fit a hot toys body, at least then you know you have the option to customize in future. I've been working on some road warrior stuff I've been thinking about releasing

I think it's done. I asked Denny about getting the smaller suit instead - even though I ordered the full set - but he said they were made to order. I'm hoping the clothes maybe fit a TTM-19. I know the body used was to accomodate the oversized head as well as possible.

Will need to get the current projects out the way but I have the dog, shotgun, accessories and head. Will try to post more up soon.

Another good body alternative if the Solo is too pricey is a hot toys stark body. Has the right arms and the shirt should cover the chest hole.
