Picked my second runner up today, and I hate to say it, but the paintjob... hmmm. He looks quite sallow, almost jaundiced. Different painters for the second run? Or just some very flattering photos originally?

That was my intent, but it shows up most in natural light, and the suns heading down here. I'm not much of a photographer so I don't know how much it will reveal anyway.

I wouldn't say I'm disappointed, I just feel it's just not on par with the paintjob on the GBU trio. Esp the blond cowboy.

Oh I see..

It's possible that some of 2nd run heads were rushed or like you've said maybe a different painter..?

I guess we'll have to wait and see what other people have to say about this 2nd run.

^^^ THAT'S how it looks for me. It's yellowed, and pale, and seems washed out, and looks nothing like this...

I'll have a sleep on it, but this one may be going back in the box for hibernation. I think I'm disappointed. There's just no life in it. It's flat, and wax like.

I could be wrong but I think CK's heads are known to have this color of corpse like skin tone...

some people don't mind it and some people hate it..

I suggest you to repaint the head yourself just a little to give more life to the head.

This is my Michael in natural daylight. First run, full set.

I've been wanting to get him repainted to look more Silican, right now he is very pasty and pale, maybe not so much in the photo but especially in person.
