Ok guys. For the couple of us who got Ringo, any suggestions for cutting/trimming the neckerchief? It is way to big and bulky no matter how you roll it. I am considering re-sizing it and having a seamstress stitch it. On the spurs, not sure which direction they go, tilted up or down. Lastly, are the boots the same that he wore in the movie in the shootout scene? Can't seem to find a descent picture. They look so big with his little legs. I'm thinking about bulking up his legs a bit. Would love to hear what you guys think.

I don't own the figure, but in regards to his bandanna/scarf, try wetting it with water and shaping it. OR wet and shape it with liquid starch and it will dry to whatever shape you'd like. If you don't like it, you can always wash it out with water. Either way, definitely moisten and shape it! Always works for me.

Thanks for the suggestion. The shape isn't a real issue, it's about twice the size it needs to be. If you roll it up a little extra to shorten it, then it becomes so bulky that it looks like he has a blanket wrapped around his neck.

Received mine today.

There things I like and don't like. The clothes are superb. The shape of the head really bothers me though, although it could be the hat being unrealistically low. The plastic behind the trigger on the revolvers is just ridiculous -- I'm baffled by such a ridiculous design decision. The gun barrels seem too long as well. I'm not sure if I will keep this set.

Can you knock out that plastic on the pistols, it looks terrible!

No. It isn't just flashing, or whatever injection molded plastic is called when spills out at the seams. It is really solid and completely resisted my initial attempt to push it out. Of course I will be able to drill/cut it out, but its just not acceptable on a $600 custom. It this figure were still in the $300-400 range, I would be a lot more satisfied.

I'm not here to knock another product but I just want to give you my thoughts on the guns.

First off having done my custom Doc set and doing several months of research, I can tell you the Colt Peacemaker included above is wrong! Doc used the 4.75" Barrel Length aka the "QuickDraw" version, the one included above is the 5.5" Barrel Length. The shape of the grip looks off, the aiming sight on top of the barrel is wrong, the trigger guard looks misshaped, and yes that solid block of plastic behind the trigger looks bad. I think the reason for that is so the trigger won't break off. The overall gun should be slightly bigger than the Colt Lighting.

As for the Colt Lighting, the shape of the trigger guard is wrong, the grips are somewhat wrong, the "Birds Head" grip shape is a little off, and should have a retention screw right in the center of the grip exposed on both sides, not solid like above.

As some of you stated for as much as this set cost one would expect better accuracy and detail.

Again I'm not knocking or bashing this Cultking release just giving you my thoughts based on what I know to be accurate.

Thanks
Mike

This why I am begging you to consider re-releasing the pistols you did. Your attention to detail speaks for itself.

Between this set and the new IRIS Doc outfit, it really help a lot of people out.

The neckerchief is really puffy. Are all of them like that?

Yes, they are all like that. I posted a little while back about possibly cutting it down to a proper size and re-stitching it. It is way too long, front and back, and much too thick to lay properly.
