I think I may try and pad the thighs a bit since they look so skinny with the large boots.

I would not expect to have to futz around with a $600 custom figure.

DID officer boots or BGT boots might look good on that. The rubber ones look odd.. Do the spurs come off??

I would live to replace the boots, but the front part of the spurs are attached. The whole look to them is bulky. In the film, they are very tight fitting and slim.

I think (insert company name here) digitally sculpted the boots and spurs and had them printed. They did the same with the road fighter figure.

I'll post a photo when I get home this evening. On the scarf, I wonder how much to cut it down to make the sizing more accurate?

SOunds good.. In the past, ive wet fabric to get a better flatter shape then used glue to hold down the overlapping layers... its obviously stiff, but it will looks in scale.. Try it on a seperate piece of fabric first until you get the hang out of it..

I watched the movie, for the 20th plus time, the other day and paid close attention to the scarf. It doesn't go very far down his back and not very low in the front. I wonder how large a 1:1 is and then I can figure out if the size is correct.

Replicating the harness and spur in leather and metal wouldn't be hard I don't think. You could probably find a stamp to hammer into the leather to match the texture too.

Here are a few photo's of the boots and also of the scarf opened up.

I'm not looking at it right now, but I think it is one large piece with the edges stitched. I will have to cut it down and have two sides re-stitched.
