Hi! I want to offer my Custom Morpheus Katana...
The blade is made from stainless steel with brass wrap on the end, handguard is made from styrene, the handle is wood with wrapping, , scabbard is made from wood too.
This is my first attempt... I just rushed the handle wrapping procedure, the next ones will be better of course. Also, I think I need to use thicker stainless steel sheet for the blade.
I don't know if I done this Morpheus katana right. I've seen some pics on the net with etching on the blade, some without..
It will be very difficult to etch that line in stainless steel, but I can do it if I use aluminum..
It will be very great if you share your comments and suggestions for this project...
..I still don't know the final price for this katana, but for sure it will be over a $100..
If someone's interested please get in touch with Sir Dave (Davinator65)

Yes, sorry please pardon the first try on the handle wraps. I really appreciate the comments..
I have been looking for a nice 1/6 scale handle wrap but can't find any... so far, this is what I can do: :dunno

Thanks for looking,, comments are very welcome..

I know there are different sizes of katanas, but my first impression was that maybe the handle is a little bit too long (well or the blade too short, but the shots with the figure lets me tend to the first). And this could also be seen as a point of personal taste, but maybe the blade gets to thin after one third of the lenght.
My optical favorit katana style when it comes to shape etc. is the one from Kill Bill:

The blade is roughly 2,5x the lenght of the handle. Yours seem like 2x the handle I'd guess.
The wrapping of the handling does not need any apologies at all mate, it is a fantastic attempt to actually DO a wrapping and not just take a molded piece of solid plastic handle. Also the Tsuba is stunning :)

This is modeled after Morpheus' sword.
