Wow...sweet looking.

Re: Custom Comic SKULL Suit (test fit pix is up)

Ashkan and I are getting all the skull logo ready as of now. Next step is to locate the logo onto the suit, this is the tricky part. The hollow skull eyes has to be located properly onto the chest of the suit. We have to make a decision on which body to use, there will be two version.

Version 1- for Heroik body
- we'll have to wait till the body is release to US. Even with the Heroik body, I'm afraid the head may still be too small...

Version 2- for Noland Body
- we gonna make it for this body just in case MikeTek offers the bradstreet once again.

I personally like the size of that head much more. as for sculpt, I like the new angry Frank version. if MikeTek can sculpt another one with smaller size, that would be perfect!!

Re: Custom Comic SKULL Suit (test fit pix is up)

Sorry, I may be impartial, but I don's see where this head is coming off looking huge. I can't comment on a DC Direct comparison as I don't own one. The head was sculpted with a Whiplash/Noland body in mind. Here is a picture of it on a Whiplash body, I think it looks fine. The head is broad and lantern jawed which was the intent. I think it looks a little off on a standard True-Type, but works perfect on the bigger bodies. I've also put a few size comparison pics up. Please excuse the crappy phone pic.

Re: Custom Comic SKULL Suit (test fit pix is up)

The bradstreet ones great, as a matter of fact I have an unpainted one still.

The reasoning behind why Tony, Elvis and I like our Comic character heads to be a bit smaller is because there is really no suitable comic proportioned bodies out there. While I agree it's not needed for the realistic bradstreet version, for comic characters that wear spandex uniforms, they are basically nude figures. The heads tend to look bigger because of that.

These figures we make of such characters are not intended to be "real world" versions of the characters. They are supposed to represent a stylized comic drawing, not someone dressed up as a comc character for Halloween. Just trying to make it understandable where we are coming from.

Re: Custom Comic SKULL Suit (test fit pix is up)

I totally get what you are saying.

As I know there are no comic bodies out there, I go for real-world proportions based on comic style...... I can't actually imagine it looking any more perfect that how it looks on the Noland/Ross/Whiplash body. I've also seen it on the ACI Andrew and think it looks really good there also.

While my Punisher will have a spandex shirt, he is also going to have military web gear and black tactical pants to look as "realistic" as he can. Just two different styles i guess.......

Re: Custom Comic SKULL Suit (test fit pix is up)

Don't get me wrong, I think your punisher sculpt is awesome, and I'm either using it on whiplash or ACI. I think it looks good on the Whiplash one, not dissatisfied with it at all.

Re: Custom Comic SKULL Suit (test fit pix is up)

Great! I'm glad to hear the feedback.

From generalized "overall bulk" yes they are very similar. If you are talking tight spandex shirt size, they are different as tony can explain better than I of the specifics.

yautja31337 - You did hit a very good point. The Noland/Whip/Ross body is bigger around the waist and standard pants don't fit well. I used an old set of ACE pants that I have and they fit perfect. The ebay link you provided looks like they might work, just don't know for sure. I also don't know if the Heroik has a smaller waist than the HT Noland/Ross/Whip

i went with the heroik because i have a regular kaustic muscle body and was very pleased with it + the heroik to me looks beefier and is cheaper than getting a noland or ross body. i had a hard time finding the pants though but im glad i ran into those cause its says they're for the muscle bodies and the heroik is on the list so thats good.

Re: Custom Comic SKULL Suit (test fit pix is up)

Button line, this sculpt is way too good for anyone to pass it on. We highly suggest either realistic or comic like, find a body to make it worth every dime. MikeTek's Frank head is just wayyyy too good!

Of course if Mike can do a second run with a bit smaller size for comic version, I'll be all over it! And we'll make second run of Punisher suit for it with more Skull logo, even dark blue.....
