I like the one with the outline of the ship on it. The first one doesn't look like something from the show, it looks like something from a cell phone with the "Twitter" and "Apps" buttons, etc.

Okay, here's the first size test. Curious if folks feel the sizing is right on this or not. Ignore the colors (it's all black).

I think the width of the seat and armrests looks good, but it definitely seems too tall and wide in the back. Even when he was sitting all the way back the headrest only came up to his ears.

Agreed. Definitely too tall and too long front to back. I will be doing some size modification soon to prepare for final printing. I will also start hollowing out places to hold wiring for the light up features.

Hey, all... I have an update and an opinion question for you. I have the chair done except a few details, and I am wondering about the back.

In REPLICAS the cushion in the middle of the chair extends all the way across the back. However I can't find any set photos of the BACK of the chair, so in my model it does not extend. What does everyone think?

If I keep it how I have it fabrication will be a little easier. HOwever if the replica chair is ACCURATE I of course want to go with that way. Let me know!

Flat plastic? I don't follow.

I am either going to do it as in the render I posted, or I will be extending the textured part all the way to the ends, as seen in the photo of the replica.
