May have my first head today or tomorrow. It arrived at the local distribution center yesterday.

Tracking on heads 2 and 3 now shows that the package was finally accepted two days ago in Ukraine. Guess it's going to be a while till those arrive. Maybe others who were in the second batch should see if their tracking has updated.

Cool, I wonder if it was airmail or shipped?
I checked my tracking, it says it was sent abroad on the 15th, hopefully not too long now.
I think Christmas & new Years has screwed us up a bit, having said that I ordered some action figure stuff from China on the 9th and they came yesterday, standard airmail.

As of this morning, mine has cleared New York and is now being tracked through the US postal system on its way to California. There was never a notice that USPS had received it. It went from "Origin point is preparing shipment" to leaving NY overnight. Hoo-rah!

Ughh, it didn't make it onto the truck today, so I have to wait another day.:gah: The wait is excruciating.:impatient: Tomorrow. Not only will I have a great Conan, it'll allow me to see what the head might look like as a T1 Terminator prospect. Hopefully I can give UlliPekka some feedback on moving forward with that.

He's here! :blissy Unfortuantely, I can't get the head off the stand. It was ingeniously packed and arrived in pristine condition, but I'm not sure why it is so stuck on that base. Hope some adhesive didn't leak in and seal him to it.

Pray for me guys. Been trying to use some pliers to flex the stand that it's on. It looks like the plunger end of a hypodermic needle was used. It's just not budging from inside the head.

OK. This is what I've discovered. The head is sealed to the tube. It looks like a syringe was cut in half, then inserted into the head with some clear sealant to hold it in place. The end was filled with sealant (center object in picture) and sealed to a lid. A screw was used as an additional means of securing it. I removed the screw to get it off the lid. I used some pliers and got the sealant plug out of the bottom. That's when I saw the sealant at the other end of the syringe holding the head on. What am I supposed to do with that? If I can get most of the syringe out, I don't really care if the very top stays in, but this is definitely some work.

So the sealant fills the other end of the syringe? And the opposite end of the syringe is open so the sealant is actually stuck directly to the inside of the head?

It looks like a couple of big drops was used to secure one end to the head and the other end was filled to secure to lid. No way it just ran down by mistake. While we brain storm, here's a comparison pic to MMS136 head.

What kind of sealant is it? Rubbery like silicone? What about putting it in the freezer for a little while... could cause minor shrinkage of the glue and make it a tad more brittle so gentle rocking/twisting of the syringe cap might better break the seal.

That could work, but I grabbed a plastic scribe and cut through the sealant in a couple of spots, then just pushed the head off.
