When you get this done, you need to make the hair alteration for the Police Assault version with the Gargoyle sunglasses. People will go nuts over it. It technically should have a battle damaged eye, but we could live without it. Not sure if you could actually make the glasses. We need it to replace the baby face MMS238.

I've been thinking about this and did a little bit of Windows Paint modding. What do you (and others) think of this?

I have slightly altered the mouth and increased the squint of his left eye.




I've had a few pints to drink tonight so I could be delusional, I'm open to disagreement. I think your sculpt is so good Ullipekka that any changes are subjective - a matter of personal choice, not necessarily improving the head - unless a majority agree.

One thing I didn't change but which would be a suggestion is here:



^it looks like you have the fringe coming loose here, a slight separation. There's nothing wrong with it like that - I just think that most of the time in the movie it was long enough to sweep continuously back over the side of his head like on the NECA figure.

A-dev, I think the little bit of extra squint is a positive improvement. As it stands, with the limitations of the program you used, the lip curl looks like a deformity. If UlliPekka can alter it the correct way, once again, it would be a positive improvement.

As for the hair, either way works, but no gap is probably better. I think just swooping it up will show too much forehead though. I think there actually needs to be a little more of it there. So swoop it over and add a tiny amount along the bottom. See picture. UlliPekka, this is a masterpiece already.

Cheers man. Now, with the lip, the lack of symmetry is deliberate - I've seen pics of him where his upper lip is like that with one side more steeply rounded than the other (including the reference that RIDDICK posted a couple of pages back) - I think it's part of the squint/sneer thing. But yes, it doesn't always look like that and it may look a little weird with my Windows Paint mod. I just happen to think he looks the most badass in the movie when he's got that lip-curl. Man, no one but us will pay attention to things like that, sounds like a total mancrush :lol

A final tiny adjustment





I think even with Arnie's frown his eyebrows aren't a straight line from one side of his face to the other. So I slightly thinned them at the far edges and slightly increased their fullness toward the centre.

As for the lip curl, I wasn't commenting that it wasn't there. It is. My only concern was that using Paint to draw that little curve doesn't properly alter the facial structure on that side the way whatever program Ullii is using would.

The squint is excellent.

Not sure I like the eyebrow mod. Something didn't look right about it to me. I actually don't think his brows come that far around the side of his eyes to begin with so both Ulli's rendering and your mod may be wrong in that case. The one picture I posted before gives a nice shot. Maybe I can find a better one. It shows your squint very well also.

So, I was correct about one thing. His eyebrows don't seem to curl down around his eyes, so unless there is some disagreement on that point, I think they should be altered. I think they should actually be a little higher off the eye, especially towards the nose. Even with a hard squint, it seems there is a bigger gap. A-dev, I think you are right about them getting thinner towards the end, but it may be because the rest of the eyebrow actually needs to be thicker than Ulii has it. I found some nice reference shots. The one picture even has the hair flopped down instead of swooped to the side. Still should be more hair there either way. Thoughts on eyebrows please. They are DEFINITELY important to the proper look.

I THINK THE FOURTH PICTURE DOWN IS EVERYTHING WE WANT FROM THIS SCULPT. I would have said the third picture, but the squint may be just a bit too much in that one.

So, using the same program as a-dev, Windows Paint, I tried an eyebrow mod. I think it looks pretty good. Higher off the eye, just a little thicker, tapered and not wrapped around side. Thoughts?

So, I decided to do a hair mod as well. I didn't do it to the same picture as the eyebrow mod, just so there aren't too many things going on at once. This isn't necessarily an improvement, just an option. Personally, I would like to see this and the eyebrow mod I did done, but we need to hear some feedback. A-dev........where are you?

Couldn't help myself. Decided to add in the squint and lip curl that a-dev did. Tried for more subtle though. So this is eyebrow, hair, lip curl and squint mod.

It was sleepy time for me. I like your hair mod - that's actually all I had in mind with what I suggested before. Perhaps you thought I was talking about raising it off the forehead altogether?

I think with what you're talking about with the eyebrows would basically have a similar effect I was looking for so I'd be game for that. I just think as they stand they form too much of a straight line across his face which I think can be seen when compared with any of the reference shots you posted on the previous page. I think there should be a bit more of an upward raise at the center of the face and slanting down a bit as they go out.

As regards the upper lip - I thought there should be a little more of a dip right in the center, the area directly in line with the nose, but again that could be angle-dependent or a subjective facial expression quirk thing.
