Damn, I'm actually having a difficult time deciding between 1 and 2. Even though the squint is important, it looks great without. That means the basic sculpt is simply fantastic. Going to need a little more time to choose.
It does. I edited my initial reaction post to mention that there is an intensity in the eyes of 2 - there will definitely be some scenes where he isn't squinting hard and therefore that one is a viable choice, although I still think the eyebrows on that one are a bit too straight and angular at the ends.
1 is more unique. We don't have any 1:6 sculpt depicting that squint. NECA did it on their Jungle Extraction Dutch at 1:10 and I think Trevor Grove did it on that old T2 Cybderdyne PF at 1:4. Nothing at 1:6 though to my knowledge.

UlliPekka, could you put the eyebrows from #1 on #2 and show us what it would look like. Maybe we don't need the big squint, but #1 has the more accurate eyebrows.

I think the squint mod a-dev did looks better than #1. Maybe it's not realistic though. Using Paint is a very crude way to make changes.
I'm leaning towards #2, BUT I would still like to see eyebrows from #1 on #2. I do love the intensity in the look of #2. I think that lip curl really added to it.

Maybe I'm reaching here, but a-dev's squint has an intensity while UlliPekka's doesn't. Does it look more like #1 shows him more just closing his eye as opposed to actually squinting. It makes him look introspective or even a bit sleepy instead of intense.
Interesting. I thought he did a fine job with it. The only difference I saw from what I did is I don't see that extra wrinkle line that I put in below the eyelid. The other thing is if you go across to the other more open eye you can see the upper eyelid in the main shot which maybe makes that one look less intense - but I think that's just a matter of light and shadow - i.e the slightest change in viewing angle could correct it in person.

I don't think I can do it now but, per my post just now, I wonder if covering the upper eyelid of the more open eye in shadow will make the difference because maybe the squinted eye itself isn't the problem, I dunno.
It might be worth testing a few little things later.

Very odd options, in my opinion...
Here are my two cents (hehe):
Left - old face with old eyes and new eyebrows
Right - new face with new eyes and old eyebrows
These are the most logical and natural looks.
If people want "Clint's squint" face then go with the combo on the right.

Your left eye will get more covered and your eyebrows will get straight.

The one on the right with the squint looks good with the old eyebrows. Maybe keep the squint but go with the less accurate eyebrows?

So one might have thought and yet...
Granted it's T2 but it's the same man. That's even more severe squinting than we're going for and his eyebrows have slant to them - highest points in the middle and sloping down to the furthest edges. They are definitively not forming a straight line from one side of the face to the other.
