Sold out!!! If your interested, please inform me within the next week or else you are flat out of luck.

The metal ones will be expensive...very expensive. The new ones will be better than the old ones that he made. I am asking for $1,400 + EMS fee of $60. With that said, I have four customers who want these made. Now, you don't have to pay all at once. Pay whatever and whenever you wish until it is all paid off. I will ask for a start up fee of $500 (less if you can't handle the expense).

If you want just the helmet, $400 + $50 EMS shipping. Start up here I will ask for $200. Again, pay whatever and whenever you wish until it is all paid off.

Now with this said, Jon will mail it to one address. Instead of $50~60 EMS per package, he will mail 2 or more Rocketeer sets to one address, thereby saving on the cost of shipping. Let's say two packages. $60+$60=$120. Instead he can ship it for $70 to 80 to one address. Then the person can ship priority mail to the other person (Figure $10?). So you would be saving $30 to 40. More if more than 3. With that said, YOU REALLY HAVE TO TRUST THE OTHER PERSON RECEIVING THE MAIL. Once it gets to the person, all of our responsibility ends.

This is his new set. Always, the newer sets are improved. The new set will include weld marks on the helmet also.

Re: 2nd Run of Fullmetal's Rocketeer Helmet and Jet Pack ONLY SERIOUS BUYERS

Is it possible to just get the helmet?

Also does the 1500 include the belt / harness?

Yes, it includes the belt and harness. We would not make it without those. As far as the helmet...I guess yes...

Re: 2nd Run of Fullmetal's Rocketeer Helmet and Jet Pack ONLY SERIOUS BUYERS

Is it possible for him to make a more affordable version in resin/plastic, like the nail gun that he made for Wallstreet Killer Bateman a few years ago? I love the metal version, is definitely the ultimate piece, but $1500 for it is out of my league... I believe many buyers of the Yunsil clothing run like me would jump on these in resin.

My God... Jonathan does stellar work. Those jet packs look like they could just launch right off of the table. Are there no limits to his fabrication talents in sixth and quarter scale? He's a true master at his craft.

You can find resin ones in 1/6 scale. I think someone is selling one or two sets here.

How much for just the helmet?

There have been interest lists for them, but they never got enough interested, which is why I think people are asking if Full Metal could make that as an option.

I may be interested in the full set. When is the initial 500 due and when would be the final payment?

Well, if you mean two people who asked to do them... Not many people are interested due to its high price, but well worth it. The initial payment is due now or later. Not much later. The final payment is when he is about 3 to 5 days from finishing the set. Like I said, pay whenever and whatever you want. No pressure.
I will update with pics on this site.

$380.

Actually the problem wasn't enough interested, but someone willing and/or able to make it. The leather harness was another problem. I was one of those who got the clothing set, and like me at least about 10 to 15 people were after a viable solution to the whole helmet/jetpack set, but we couldn't find a solution at the time. Some guys used Medicom parts, others bought this set from Fullmetal, but I believe the majority of us are still in need of it.

So, if I may ask again, is it possible? Jon could consider making it in resin too (ready to use, with leather harness) if we gather enough interested?

Rocco agreed to take the project if there was enough interest. There unfortunately didn't seem to be.

It really surprised me. I figured what with all of the love for this film it would be easy to find the people to support it.

Re: 2nd Run of Fullmetal's Rocketeer Helmet and Jet Pack ONLY SERIOUS BUYERS

Now I know why some of you have been trying to find helmets...

No helmet yet. I always find shapeways products to be good, not great, and fragile.

Yes, he could do it, but I have concerns that the helmet might be too fragile for resin, so too the vent levers on the pack.

Its definitely an option, but for $150 that jetpack could be a bit better. Has a few major accuracy issues.

Nonetheless i'll definitely be keeping an eye on that shop. Thanks for the link.

I didn't even remember that thread... anyway, for a project that would give us unpainted casts without the leather harness, we still had 10 people interested, which is about the same number of people that participated in the Yunsil outfit run and that didn't find a solution yet, like I said.

So, in this case we would get a fully finished product, already painted, with harness and ready to mount on the figure, made by an artist we all know will deliver quality, scale, screen accuracy, etc. Probably more people would show interest, or at least those same 10 from the old thread. I think it's worth a shot.

I think it's because of the Medicom figure... the jetpack is small but decent, detailed with harness and all, but the helmet has a fixed head, not removable... so guys are probably buying the medicom figure to use the jetpack, but still need a solution at helmet.

this model on the link is very poor, not accurate, almost incomplete and would require painting, harness... not worth $150.

Re: 2nd Run of Fullmetal's Rocketeer Helmet and Jet Pack ONLY SERIOUS BUYERS

So your telling me that 10 ordered the outfit from Yunsil? There were 5 who bought the set from Jon...leaving 5 more in need of a set. 2 have already confirmed with a third one on the way. So there is no way Jon can make these in resin. Resin cost for these is relatively cheap, about $15-20. It is the silicone molds which can become pricey at $25 to 50. He would have to cast at least 1 for the helmet and 3 for the rocket pack, I said AT LEAST. So it would at maximum cost him $200 to make the molds. Now, if there is 1 buyer, he would have to brunt the entire cost of the molds. 1=$200. But if we have 5 buyers, $200/5=$40. This is on top of cost of making it.

20 Yunsil outfits were made. Many of those I imagine are without the jet packs unless they used the Medicom set (which is very undersized).

Oh...I see. And no one has made set in resin... That is a shame. I thought by now everything was resolved, but I guess it has not...
