damn fine work shock...............the details at the base of the helmet look really well done from what i can see. if i was more of a gladiator fan i would be all over this.
and when a few more of your future projects start coming together & your looking for more project ideas let me know..............i have a few things in mind.............:wink1:

Thanks.... can't wait to get this set in resin and slap some paint on the sucker... I think I have the wifes permission to get supplies this weekend... once I send out my final Death dealer I'll be set to start casting this

I'm not the biggest Gladiator fan but it's a great flick, being a history and arms & armour buff I knew I wanted this guy when I first saw him. really surprised no official offering has appeared.

Be sure to pass on a wish list & I let you know which I'd be interested in.. I'm one of those people who has to be interested in a character to be able to motivate myself to work on it...:slap I would not make a successful commission artist :cuckoo:

Totally agree with this... I'm not a big fan of the movie, but this set is going to be totally awesome :rock The helmet and shoulder pieces are looking top-notch :rock

These two for sure I'd be interested in. Since there's a headplay Commodus already, it'd be perfect.

At some point I had planned to make my own Medieval Kurgan, but if someone more talented than I could do it all the better.

Wow some nice ideas fellas, I thought of kurgan before, am waiting for my skills to up to the challenge same for Commodus very itricate, not a real fan of troy or the designs in it to be honest though, barryO has sent me a few interesting ones as well, one is on the way "Thulsa doom" and the others mostly spike the my interest too

Well here 's my 1st test of the mask, I'm liking it needs to be more plain silver on the final but just checking the overall look

Looking good man, you may want to try making the jaw a bit wider, other than that it looks pretty spot on

Thanks guys, heres the 1st cast, the inside needs a bit of dremeling but the mould cuts 80% of the that out. heres a couple of pics with a quick paint up, I'm pretty stoked with it considering I'm newish to the whole customs & casting game....

Couple more spots left & lets see if we can get metal Blade sword & axe head

Either is an easy mod, both can be adjusted by warming the resin

Faceplate, curves inward making the chin much smaller than the cheek bones but in the photos it looks only slightly smaller. Compare the lines of the jaw bone and I think you'll see what I mean.
