I decided to add some last minute extras. A special nameplate for the Slimed Edition and foam padding. This will release late tomorrow. In the video below I'm adding foam to hide the wiring and prevent shelf wear.
Previous to the video I cut out the base pads from foamies. After gluing the base I use a stencil I created to emboss the pad so the wiring doesn't create unevenness. Once the glue sets any unwanted foam is trimmed away.
It's time for the official release boils and ghouls! It's been a long time coming but I hope it was worth the wait. As mentioned earlier in the thread I attempted some rudimentary articulation but due to mold and cast shrinkage it didn't work out. Hopefully that doesn't detour you because I think the piece is still well worth it.
With the Slimed Edition you'll receive a fully realized sixth scale Slimer, carpet base with light up ghost trap, slimed nameplate, and certificate of authenticity. As you know the figure is 290 but please add 15 for shipping and insurance.
I received mine today! Seeing it in person is really something. This is fantastic. It's really a sight to behold. I am so happy I got one of these, a beautiful custom piece like this is worth every penny. It is amazing how much work you put into this and how it turned out. Thank you Riggs!!
I'm really glad to hear you like him! Ghostbusters has been a part of my life since I was a kid and I definitely wanted to do the little guy justice. I have plans for one or two others from the movie but it'll be a while before I get to them.
Slimer is home! I shortened the clear rod to lower center of gravity and to put him more around the waist of the guys! Thanks again Riggs! Truly a work of art!
