Very disappointed to say it's a pass for me. Cannot see myself buying this set as much as I wanted to. Only figure of Jimmy really impressed me out of all 3. Congratulations to all of you who ordered this!! Goodfellas is one of the best mafia movies ever made next to The Godfather.

Just what Joned and cmiller said. They're right. Mr. X did specifically asked us NOT to use his name on any sites nor to share any of the links.
I hope that this issue will not lead to some people blowing it out of proportion like those Rainman threads. :lol We are just backing up Mr. X and honor his wishes. Just what Joned said and I repeat no offense to those of you that are new or just came upon this thread.

Okay playa.. You could have easily told him to send a PM to "Mr. X" on Facebook in the first place instead of saying something like "you got to be accepted first"
Like, who the hell made this illuminati type rule? All I did was simply asked Mr. X about how to order and he simply gave me the link. You don't got to be accepted at all.. There's no requirements whatsoever.. People just don't tell the newcomers how to contact Mr. X and that's all.
But I got to tell you that it really sucks for any new comers..
I honestly feel sorry for them whenever they ask questions like "How can I order this?" and you got some people not helping the fella out or saying something smart like "you got to be accepted first" instead of at least telling them to contact "Mr. X".
I totally understand about the issues with the license and recasting but damn, I sure didn't hear "MR. X" say "please don't tell any newcomers how to place an order because I ONLY want my old members to purchase my future products! Don't even tell them to contact me for the link"..
Well, it seems like some of you guys just don't want any newcomers anywhere near a project like this..
I remember back in my elementary school days when a kid came up to me once and goes "WTF? Why did you buy the exact same shoes as mine?!? Don't wear it next time!"

When I first signed up to the original iminime site I had to wait to be accepted just like I did on rainmans site before all this email thing started going out so if things have now changed then so be it ,,but I can not see how as he's being extra careful these days because of licensing coming after him and the big problem of recasting , which if I've shelled out 1150 dollers on a set I don't want them to be seen on eBay unpainted the week after sir .
So yes I can be a little vague when a new comer who only joined the board the last month or so asked how do I get on this . No offence to man [emoji4]
Just like to know who we're dealing with , as mrX has nearly quit this 1/6 figure making before wouldn't want a last nail in the coffin .
You don't know who comes on these broads snooping around and most people know each other on here and are trusted , yes it sucks for new comers but in time people get to no one another and people open up .

Exactly the reason that Denny wants to avoid clashes with licensers. He was forced not to make this figure by HBO. Same deal as the Sherlock figure, except this time they weren't even allowed to do a small run of 30 at Famcon.

Things have changed and you don't need to apply for the illuminate membership before you can get your link from Mr. X. I don't think you fully understand the world of recast. No matter how careful you are with shared links, recast will be always available sooner or later unless if you happen to know someone from NSA then please help us to track down those recasters! I'm sure people like Mr. X is well aware of this and his main priority for being careful with his name and etc is due to licensing issue. Mr. X almost quit 1/6 because people were nagging and nagging about the quality of his prototype and NOT because of recasting and licensing issue.
So, get that correct and no offense to you, playa! :clap

That is true. I recalled reading about it in the other thread, I can't remember which one and he was feeling really bad about it. Some people can be nasty and inconsiderate with their criticisms.

The point of him quitting was( aimed ) at licensing and recasting being the last nail in the coffin , I'm well aware of the nagging issue last time .
