It's a no brainer.

They have shown how well they can tackle shades. Something that Tyler lacked under Rainman.

Maybe we could get the motorcross tee and the penguin shirt with red leather jacket?

DX version with robe and deputy dog furry hat.

So many possibilities to make this a very credible release

Tyler Durden plus narrator... My head may explode from that awesomeness! I don't see it as disrespectful to Rainman unless they're released around the same time, but Rainman is their art director so I'm sure he could easily make his thoughts known. But it's a wish list thread!

If it happens it will happen much later next year... so many figures are scheduled that it will take at least next year for work on them to start!

i don't think rainman would refuse his blessing, but i get the impression (and it's just an impression) that denny wouldn't even ask, because rainman is his mentor and taking on a project your teacher and mentor has already done in some small way implies you can do it better than he did. otherwise, if you're really an team of artists, why even attempt it? and considering the amount of respect denny shows for rainman, i don't think he'd go there.

i hope i'm wrong.

yeah, i suppose if they went a different route. to be honest, i never really liked rainman's versions. so if they did do it, i'm sure they'd come out really well.

I prefer the serious and even beat up Tyler, but maybe offer smiling/laughing sculpts as a DX? And ya... Red jacket look more iconic IMO.

I think it was something along the lines of saving $300~ for Neo and $400~ for Gladiator due to the cost in making his armor. I'm really hoping it's his gladiator attire since ACI toys has a pretty good roman general figure coming soon... And his gladiator get up is more iconic IMO.
