I'd love to see Bret Hart, Ric Flair or Hulk Hogan in 1/6. Bret Hart particularly, but I think the board would love a good Ric Flair figure!

Added number ten :)

1. Clint Eastwood as Man with No Name from the Dollars trilogy.
2. Mel Gibson as Max Rockatansky from Mad Max.
3. Patrick Bateman from American Psycho
4. Jim Carrey as Ace Ventura from Ace Venture Pet Detective
5. Bruce Willis as Corbin Dallas & Milla Jovovich as Leeloo from The Fifth Element
6. Javier Bardem as Anton Chigurh from No Country For Old Men
7. Ghostbusters Quartet
8. Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter from The Silence of The Lambs
9. Christopher Lambert as Connor MacLeod from Highlander
10. Stephen Hawking as himself

Removed:
1. KISS - not convinced it's viable (Lejuan, Axe)
2. Leslie Nielsen as Sgt Frank Drebin from Naked Gun series - wont sell out 50 sets, no chance (Axe)
3.

I still think KISS is highly viable. Look at how many (admittedly cheap) action figs there have been over the years. The problem is no one has done a great set.I could grab up the 1:4s and just have them customized but don't want to go that large.

  • Ghostbusters and 5th Element are likely the only shoe-ins on the list to sell 50 sets.
  • American Psycho Patrick Bateman with a Valentino suit, brick cell phone, stainless steel axe, buisiness card holder, plastic wrapped severed head etc. would be brilliant, although I'd still prefer Bale as cleric John Preston from Equilibrium
  • MwNN sure, but I'd actually rather see Eastwood as Dirty Harry
  • Lambert as MacLeod is a great character but SS has already done that series, not great but it's out there -- and you'd need the Kurgan
  • No takers for Brad Pitt (Achilles) and Eric Bana (Hector)?
  • How about Jackson (Jules) and Travolta (Vincent) from Pulp Fiction
  • Another suggestion Denzel Washington, Book of Eli

IDK as for KISS, when I think musicians, real hair, elaborate costumes I think Serang. That'll be Mega pricey, but he'd make the top notch set that doesn't exist yet.

I like how many people are interested in a Jules & Vincent set from iminime. I hope this can happen. There's plenty if people that think they're too bashable but I disagree. The common sculpts out there are Headplay and other bootlegs. There are good ones but not great ones yet IMO. If Iminime can pull off producing the definitive pair, I'd be all over it. Accurate mother of pearl plated handles on the .45's and a good quality brief case(not that EB Scarface crap). DX Vince with extra sculpt(ponytail) and raincoat. KILLER!

I'm surprised how most of you are putting cool characters, but mainly boring looks on your list.

Here's my grail list (in no particular order):

1. Legolas

2. Daryl (TWD)

1. KISS - not convinced it's viable (Lejuan, Axe, Drac)
2. Leslie Nielsen as Sgt Frank Drebin from Naked Gun series - wont sell out 50 sets, no chance (Axe, Drac)
3. Javier Bardem as Anton Chigurh from No Country For Old Men - Classic movie, but I don't see it selling 50+ figs :dunno (Drac)

I would also remove Max but I'm not sure if I'm alone in that matter. I'd prefer a William Wallace figure if they ever got around to sculpting Mel. And if we can have Stephen Hawking, which I think is a very good choice, then I'd welcome Carl Sagan, Albert Einstein, Charles Darwin and Richard Dawkins too.

Good point on Stephen Hawking, though it would have been awesome to have him as a figure! Now Preston is one figure I would like to get, Equilibrium is one of my favorite movies. But that one can easily be kitbashed using one of the many Bale headsculpts out there with some of those cool looking coats that are available on ebay. IF iminime decided to make one, then I'd expect it to come with the black grammaton cleric coat and the white ceremonial uniform. What would be the price for that?

Depends, should be close to $360 or so for 2 clothing sets... but if they get a superstar guest sculptor (not Rainman) the price could go higher...

No love for Gary Oldman as Dracula huh? Chitty, such an awesome movie/look.
That'd be more up Rainman's alley due to the intricate clothing and much expensive materials... Until Iminime start having a selling price of $700-800 those kind of figures shouldnt be tackled by them IMO because expectations will be too high for a character like this, and unless Iminime decide to raise prices, their final quality will never satisfy those wanting the figure made...

I'd buy a Gary Oldman Dracula, but I'm not into this look:

it would have to be this one..

gary-oldman-dracula.jpg

or the one where he wears that cool looking armor, can't find a good picture.

Speaking of Gary Oldman, what about him as Emmanuel Zorg from The Fifth Element? Would look awesome next to Corbin Dallas and Leeloo.

Anchorman news team main 4
Frank Drebben of Police squad, Naked Gun trilogy
Daniel Craig as James Bond Quantum of Solace version (and 1/6 aston haha)

4. Stephen Hawking as himself - dont see it selling 50+ figs specially with the fact that you have to make a wheelchair, and tooling one isnt easy or cost effective

Added the Pulp Fiction duo. I know Entropy and others say it's easily bashable, but it's looking like there could be interest. Don't underestimate the number of lazy-assed, no-talent bashers such as myself on this board.

10. Samuel L Jackson as Jules and John Travolta as Vincent from Pulp Fiction

There's big time interest for the Pulp boys. I'm probably the #1 supporter. The point of Iminime taking this on would be worth it if they can one up everything bashable that's available on the market. I'd hope that the quality and fit of the suit would be better than your average $30something suit on ebay. And the sculpts would have to be better than all the other available ones. Plus accurate guns and breifcase. And a Vince DX has I've been shouting out.

Plus a set like this would make their VIP offer EXTRA worth it. Perfect for the bashers.

i'm calling it now... the secret project is either hannibal lecter or mad max. or corbin dallas. or connor macleod. or desmond tutu. or vicky pollard. or the chuckle brothers. or bart simpson. or the milkman. or my neighbour's mum....
